fasting and prayer???

Hello everyone, I am so bummed out with reading some bad news here on the board. Has anyone ever decided to fast and pray along with other Christian board members?? Can somoene help me lead this?? I feel in my heart we need to do this for everyone of us. Will you join me? Will you pray with me? I know that with my surgery I'm only able to go without food until 12 noon but I can try to go longer if my pouch allows it. Please, if you can join me, I would really appreciate it. I will start tomorrow morning. Anyone with me? Letty

have you tried fasting all day? If so, how did your stomach react now that you are post op? was it a liquid fast? Letty

Letty, I am with you sister!! I usually give up all food items and stick with only drink, such as water or tea. Let me know if that is ok, I can fast all dat as well, since I am preop!! In HIs Love, Steph

I'm on!! I will be fasting until noon with only liquids (protein shake, water, coffe or tea) and if my pouch resists, i will continue to fast and pray for the rest of the day. Happy fasting everyone and GOD BLESS YOU all, Letty
