Hello everyone! I have just returned home after being stranded on along the interstate when our truck decided to break down for no apperent reason. Fortunately, my husband enrolled in AAA before going to Iraq. I was able to get the truck towed to the car dealership at no cost. Please pray for my transportation needs. My GMC van is no longer repairable and now the truck needs work too.

Kathy, The Lord knows your needs before your car broke down. We will just ask for those needs to be met, this is a very stressful time for you. My husband is active duty Air Force, and I understand about him being overseas for long periods of time, and Iraq, especially at the holidays, its tough. I think the wives have a harder time of it than the guys do. God we ask a miracle and favor in her transportation needs. In Jesus' name, we pray, Happy Birthday Lord, Love, Deborah

Dear Deborah, Thank you so much for your expression of kindness and friendship. My father was in the Air Force for over 20 years. Sometimes I miss living on an Air Force Base and going to the flight line to watch the jets taking off and landing. I loved the sound of their engines whining as they lifted up into the sky. I guess I must be unusual because my husband is having a harder time this holiday season than I am. Perhaps I have just blocked emotions for the time being I don't know. Thank you for praying for my family and our needs. I look forward to chatting with you more. You had your surgery about 3 weeks after my surgery. Are you amazed at the weight loss? I know I am. God Bless you and Have a Merry Christmas, Kathy

Kathy, I don't know if you remember or not, but a few weeks ago I posted that my car was acting up. We thought the transmission was shot. Anyway, I went in my bathroom, shut the door, and just prayed to God (telling Him what He already knows). My husband was outside messing with it at the time. Within 2 minutes of my prayer, he walked in the door with a confused look on his face and said, "It's running fine. Even the check engine light is off." Never underestimate the power of prayer. God care about every detail in our lives. Love, Dawn

Thank you Letty for your prayers. I read elsewhere that you were looking for others to join you in prayer and fasting. I would like to join you but I can't fast all day anymore. I can fast from 7pm to 12:00 am tomorrow. I hope that these hours will work. May you have a blessed Christmas, Kathy
