Congratulations on being a great-grandma.....
Your story reminds me of my mother-in-law's passing on Christmas Day 2000. She had been failing for several weeks and the doctor's did not quite understand how her life was continuing......but she knew that ALL her family, 4 children, their spouses, 14 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild would all be in for Christmas. Christmas Eve, we ALL gathered in her hospital room, pulled her bed from the wall as best we could, enclosed her in a family circle holding hands and praying. I saw her look at each one as her eyes moved around the circle. As we prayed for her, I know she was praying for each of us and saying goodbye. I was not surprised at 2 AM Christmas Day when the hospital called and said she had died. She had prayed to live to Christmas Day and God granted her prayer.....so instead of remembering her death on Christmas Day, we remember the family prayer circle on Christmas Eve and a God who was faithful to her and let her live until Christmas Day. She truly went home for Christmas.

Hi Trudy,
Congratulations on the birth of your great granddaughter!
I am praying for your brother-in-law that he will feel no pain but be peaceful in the arms of Jesus. The whole family is in my prayers. And you especially Trudy because you have had so many things going on in your life - I pray that you experience the peace of the Lord and that God will give you an extra dose of encouragement. I love you!
God Bless,
Lynda
