Good Morning Dawn and Everyone! Amen to the prayer for JaNae - she has been in my thoughts and prayers! God is so good! I wake up every morning thanking God for the miracle of this surgery - I can get out of bed and not hurt or have to stand there before I walk. I am seeing fun changes in my youngest daughter, Calli, she is so excited that I am able to do so much more with her. She is precious and loves the Lord and she truly is my inspiration. We have a lot of homeschooling to do today because we have had so many parties and things going on! Answers: 1. It is my youngest granddaughter's first birthday tomorrow and we are having a party here and so far we have 40 RSVPs! Practically everyone who has a small child at church is coming! Should be a blast - the theme is Baby Einstein. My husband and son-in-law are doing the puppet show. Then there is church on Sunday of course! 2. Oh, a 1962 Chevy Impala - loved it! Silver, sleek, auto on the floor, and leather bucket seats! The ultimate hippie car! I got my driver's license when I was 14 (lived in farm country) and my father gave me the car - so cool. 3. Just a second ago. My dad is so awesome and I am thanking God that his cancer is almost gone. Thank you again for all your prayers!! I cry a lot so it doesn't take much! Every year the first run of skiing I cry all the way to the top because I am so happy and excited. 4. The Greatest Game Ever Played. Not much into golf (my husband is) but this movie kept me on the edge of my seat. It was so sweet and so well done. I am thanking the Lord for all you! It is wonderful to be able to come to this board and know that I am talking to fellow Christians who are and have struggled with their weight and are moving forward. Love ya all! God Bless, Lynda Phil. 4:8

Hello, Dawn That was a beautiful prayer. The Lord uses you to touch so many lives. I love your questions. It has been great reading everyone's posts. It is a chance to get to know everyone better. 1. my plans for this weekend start with tonight. My son's mentor from church will be coming over for dinner and game night. We might delay game night to go to a Christmas program at the church down the road. I gave my word to my son's friend's sister that we would be there. I am not sure what will be happening tomorrow. Sunday we will be at church enjoying my son play the drums for the Praise service. 2. My first car was a red 1966 Rambler station wagon. It turned orange the first time I washed it. Oh did I mention we lived in West Texas at the time. 3. The last time I cried was on Wednesday night while talking on the phone with my Aunt Donna, who lives in Lake Station, Indiana. We are so much alike. She is a petite version of myself. I just love her so much and she always affirms me when we talk. I miss her so much I would love to visit her and Uncle Dennis for Christmas. 4. The last movie I saw was "The Chronicles of Narnia". It was very good. Have a blessed day, Kathy

Hello everyone! Well, I did a lot of Christmas shopping today and only have one more gift to buy. 1. Any plans for this weekend? Do a bunch of wrapping, straighten up the house, wash clothes and get ready to head to Arkansas next week. 2. What was your first car? A Pontiac Lemans. It was a good little car to us. 3. When was the last time you cried? Just a few minutes ago reading an email titled "Santa, can you visit my granddaughter?" 4. What was the last movie you saw in a theater? We went to see The Narnia movie which I thought was very good. I really, really enjoyed it and look forward to buying the DVD. I pray all is well for everyone. Ya'll have a great weekend!! Shel

I am only planning on going to take my girls to their bowling league tomorrow and then of course I am going to Mass on Sunday and then my RCIA class after Mass. My first car was an 84 Dodge Charger, I called him Willie B. Chargin' I drove that thing everywhere and taught all my friends to drive a stick in it!! I cry all the time, I am an emotional sap!! sometimes I cry watching commercials I cant remember the last movie I saw in the theater, we dont go much cause I end up having to interperet and cant really enjoy the movie, so I buy a lot of foriegn films so my husband doesnt need me to help him understand I hope you all have a wonderful day and night, I love you all, and welcome to the newbies, we love having you!!! In His Name, Steph

This only about a day late. Hope everyone had a wonderful Christ filled heart yesterday. I had to go see my surgeon. He fixed me right up. It didn't require much since The Lord healed me up before I even got there.. Thank you Jesus! I had a hard time getting a refferal from my new P.C.P. He wanted to send me to one of their surgeons (who don't do bariatric surgery) to "cut it open and probe and prod around in there to see what is causing the abcess". I declined and told him "if anyone is going to cut me open it will be my surgeon who knows all about bariatric surgery". He left the room and when he came back he basicly told me to find a new Dr. Anyhow... Q.O.T.D. #1. Not really. I've been really tired lately, so maybe I'll just rest and sleep. #2. I don't remember the year of the car, but I was 17 yr's. old. It was an off white used Ford Fairlane (I think). #3.This morning, now, yesterday morning, the night before~ guess I've been thinking where I shouldn't be. I really miss Dan. #4. Madagascar God bless you all, Annette
