~*~*FRIDAY'S ROLL CALL*~*~
WOOHOO!!!!! It's Friday!!!
Before we do anything, let's take a minute to pray for our sister in the Lord JaNae, who is in surgery as I type this.
Father,
You are many things. You are our hiding place, our strong tower, our comforter, and so much more. But right now Jesus we are calling out on Jahovah Rophe, our healer. God we ask You right now to stand in that surgery room with our sister and guide the doctors hands. Every insision, every staple, every move that is made; let it first be commanded by you God. We don't know if her surgeon knows you but we know that you will use the saved and the unsaved to glorify Your kingdom. JaNae is making her body a pleasing temple for You, God. We know that Your word is truth and You said that if we ask anything in Your name that it will be done. So right now in the name of Jesus, we ask these things and we thank You in advance for what You are going to do in her life. Amen.

Good morning Dawn...
Said a prayer for JaNae...I prayed that God wraps his arms around her and keeps her safe during this time.
It is a beautiful day in South Carolina...yesterday was cold, rainy and yucky!!!! The sun is out here and it is going to be in the low 50's today. What a wonderful way to begin a weekend.
QOTD:
1. We have a Xmas party this evening and MUST go shopping this weekend.
2. First car...I think it was a Chevy Impala (was a land yatch!!!) went from that to a Ford Pinto (was a tug boat!!!)

Amen to your prayer!
QOD answers (I don't have the greatest memory in the world...)
1. weekend plans: to get my house ready for company whi*****ludes getting a tree up and wrapping presents and lots of general cleaning etc.
2. I never had a car of my own until I married. He had bought a rambler just a few months before we married (anybody remember ramblers? )
3. Truthfully I don't know when I last cried. I know when I last FELT like crying. My sis came over one night this week and blew me away by telling me her marriage of over 25 years may be falling apart. I had no idea. For some reason I don't cry easily but my heart was broken about that and still is.
4. I have been to a movie theater in this country exactly three times in my entire life. The last time I went was in 1992 to the Omnimax theater at the Grand Canyon and saw a movie about ...ta da....the grand canyon!
Hope everyone has a great weekend!!!
Dear Gina,
I remember Ramblers. My first car was a red 66 rambler station wagon. Of course when I tried to wa**** the first time it turned orange. It had manual shift on the column. It was the car I used to drive standard transmissions.
I will be remembering your sister in prayer. What heartbreaking news!
May you enjoy your company and there be lots of smiles and laughter to fill your home,
Hugs,
Kathy

Good morning Dawn!!
Thanks for your post. I've been praying for our sister JaNae and I'm also very EXCITED for her. I'll be calling her mother in a few minutes to find out how she's doing.
1. Any plans for this weekend? Well, today I'm taking my boyfriend out to dinner since it's his birthday tomorrow. I was planning on having a cookout tomorrow for him but his mother came to visit last night from Mexico and she'll be making him a dinner at his sister's house. Which is ok with me, because I'm sure he misses his mother's cooking.
2. What was your first car? My first car that I owned was a 1989 Oldsmobile Cutlass supreme 2 door. I miss that car!
3. When was the last time you cried? It was this past Wednesday. I got very emotional while praying for JaNae. We exchanged emails and cried through almost every single one.
4. What was the last movie you saw in a theater? Last movie...mmmm..let's see. Not sure the exact name but it was with Jodi Foster...The Flight Planner. I think??? saw this past Sunday evening.
Hugs,
Letty
Hi everybody. First off, I am praying for JaNae. Letty, do let us know how she is doing. That was a beautiful prayer, Dawn. The Lord sure is using you. I am supposed to be in the shower getting ready for Scissor Sisters, so I'd better get going on my answers!
1. Any plans for this weekend? Yes. Finish wrapping gifts, straighten up the house, and see my family.
2. What was your first car? My husband owned a '56 Chevy when we got married. Loved that car!
3. When was the last time you cried? When I saw my great-niece being born early Tuesday morning. Actually, that's when I FELT like crying, but I had to take pictures, so I just sniffed a little bit.
4. What was the last movie you saw in a theater? My DH and I just saw Chronicles of Narnia. Wow! Blew us away!
God bless and keep you all, my dear friends.
