Hi Jacinda & Everyone! It's good to see everybody, but we're missing quite a few, too! I have some praises!!!!! I DROVE OUR VAN IN TO TOWN TODAY FOR THE FIRST TIME IN YEARS!!!!! I actually just barely fit behind the wheel, but it felt wonderful!!! And I GOT GROCERIES WITH MY DAUGHTER ON FRIDAY FOR THE FIRST TIME IN YEARS. I WALKED PUSHING AND LEANING ON A CART FOR 1 1/2 HOURS!!!! Thank YOU, Jesus!!! This is a miracle for me!!!!! I will forever thank God Almighty!!!! 1. It's dark outside now, but it was sunny and 30 degrees out today with about 4-5 inches of snow that we got last night. It was beautiful! 2. I praise God that I am able to walk more & more everyday!!! I was able to make two laps around inside the youth center today...without leaning or pushing on anything!!! PTL! 3. I don't like to read, never have...but I read my Bible everyday! I love you all and hope you have a wonderful evening!!!! Cindy

Hi Jacinda~ It's just about time for me to go to bed. (preparing for another work week..woohoo) Praise God I still have my job!!! QOD 1. Cold and windy...around 35 degrees 2. since I am pre-op; not much. But yesterday I redid my entire bedroom: Tore out the carpet & padding, removed wall border, painted the walls, took apart a king size water bed, moved my dresser into my daughter's room, put together a new dresser with mirror, put together a new bed. I woke up this morning with muscles hurting that I didn't even know I had!!! 3. Ready to restore. (it's a required reading for the biblical couseling class I am taking.) TTYL, Dawn

Hey there you all~ I am doing beautifully. I had a wonderful day of praise that was rounded off by an evening of Christmas caroling to the elderly! I LOVE Christmas Caroling, it's one of my favorite things to do during the Christmas season!! I am busy getting prepared for surgery/Christmas and Ken coming home! God is good and I am prepared and excited about the coming changes in my life. Here are the answers to the QOTD Weather ~ It is currently -2 degrees F! There is literally ONE FOOT of snow on the ground. So, basically, it's COLD!!!! Exercise~ I have been SHOPPING and SNOWBLOWING a LOT, but I haven't been doing a daily work out! I should and will, but right now, none. Book~ I am currently reading a manuscript that isn't even published yet called "The Five Sex Needs of Men and Women" believe it or not it's a Christian book!! I am reading it for the editor and author to give them my opinion of the book. But, I also try to read the Bible every day! Blessings~ Becky

Hello, everyone I guess I am a little late for Sunday's rollcall now that I look at the time on the computer. But it is still Sunday on the West Coast so I am going to post my reply as well. First I want to say I am really glad I stumbled on this forum yesterday. I have truly enjoyed reading the posts. I also have enjoyed the posts which challenge us or motivate us in our Christian walk. I attended church this morning as well. I usually attend Sunday School at 9:45 and service at 11:00 however today I did it in reverse order. I went to service first. It was very enjoyable. Of course part of the reason could be that my son was playing the drums for the Praise Band. For the questions of the day 1. It was 19 degrees this morning and overcast. We haven't received any snow but I wi**** would so that it might feel a little warmer. 2.I haven't been doing much except maybe walk around Wal-Mart and care for my 10 month old granddaughter when her mother allows me to babysit for her. 3. I actually have two books I just read for pleasure "Monster" by Frank Peretti (I am a huge fan) and "The Court and The Kingdom" by Rosemary Upton ( a story about Joanna of Herod's Court and her husband, Chuza). I have also completed our ladies bible study book "A Woman of Excellence". I am part of a Ladies Bible Study Class that completes a new book about every two to three months. My favorite books from our study have been written by John Ortberg. I just enjoy his style of writing. I also like Max Lucado's style, as well. May everyone have a blessed Monday! Kathy
