WOW, WOW, WOW...
Hello Everyone,
I went for my 2 week check up today. I feel great, and am so happy that I did this~no regrets! When I started this journey I weighed 378# my bmi was 69.1. At my final weigh in pre-op I weighed in at 312# with a bmi of oop's I forgot I think it was 57. something. Today 2 weeks post-op I weighed in at 297# with a bmi of 54.3. I have not been under 300#'s in five years. I am walking without my cane for the first time in two years.
My tight pants are getting loose and my new coat is getting big.
My nutritionist gave me homework. She said I have to get in 700 to 900 calories a day now or I won't loose weight. I have to eat pureed(sp?) foods, for 3 days then Chopped up food's and ground meats, shaved lunch meat's etc. I know I have to do this, but I'm nervous about it. My pouch only holds 1 ounce, but she want's me to try to eat 2-3 oz's. per meal, with 4 meals a day. She told me she knows this is going to be hard, that's why it's called home~WORK. I don't want to experience dumping or getting something stuck. I'm kind of afraid to eat meat's, and that kind of stuff. Oh well I'm on the road to a whole new me and I want to get there healthy!
God bless you all,
Annette
