Good Morning Everyone! I am getting ready for work. This is the day that the Lord has made. let us rejoice and be glad in it! I am pre-op so, any food is my favorite! Well, I'm about to get to work but thought I would stop in and see what is going on this morning. Having no electricty is always so hard. Hopefully yours will get back up and running soon. It was cool here this morning but I think it will be in the 60's today. Yesterday we had the AC on. You never know what you will wake up to here. As for the question, I don't know that I have a favorite new food. Maybe because it has been so long since I had surgery. I have been eating a lot of cheese lately and I do find that I'm wanting more healthy foods, more meats that are baked or grilled and more good veggies. Anyway, I pray everyone has a wonderful day today and that God shows you his love for you in some small (or big) way. Shel

Hi Well, it's hump day!! WooHoo!! I don't have a favorite new food yet because I'm not on the loosing side. Are any of you familiar with the group "newsong"? They have a worship album called "rescue". Well one of the songs called "before the day" is on my mind. It is so pretty and appropiate for roll call. Here are the lyrics: Last night when I was sleeping You were watching over me As I drempt about tomorrow You knew my every need Now another day is waiting for me to make it thorugh theres no way that I can face it without You Before the day slips away I want to stop and say "I love You, I love You" Before the the world rushes in again I want to stop and say "theres none above You, theres none above You" I'll just be still and know that You are God There's something 'bout the morning the stillness of it all that calms my heart to hear You when You gently call Now another day is waiting for me to make it thorugh theres no way that I can face it without You Before the day slips away I want to stop and say "I love You, I love You" Before the the world rushes in again I want to stop and say "theres none above You, theres none above You" I'll just be still and know that You are God Be still and know that You are God Here I am in Your presence where I long to be Lord with You in the silence Rein down Your love and Your mercy whisper softly...to me Before the day slips away I want to stop and say "I love You, I love You" Before the the world rushes in again I want to stop and say "theres none above You, theres none above You" I'll just be still and know that You are God Be still and know....that You are God Love, Dawn

Good Morning Cindy and Everyone! Another beautiful snow covered day here in the wild west! Thank goodness for battery backed lap tops! Thank you Cindy for starting the roll call even under a difficult situation. It feels good knowing you would do that for us! Another exciting day. We have lots planned. We are going to the Tree Festival in Salt Lake City today and to one of my favorite resturants - the Mayan. I will be able to have refried beans with cheese - yummm! They have divers that dive off of cliffs while you are eating - fun! Next week we are going to watch the movie Polar Express then actually take a 3 hour train ride through the snow covered Wasatch Mountains on a steam engine train like the one in Polar Express. We are trying to do lots of things with our kids and grandkids this season. But our main focus is on advent and the Birth of our Lord and Savior. Thank you Dawn for sharing the lyrics to that beautiful song! I am praising the Lord for all of you and praying for you. Love ya all! Oh, my favorite food right now -- nuts -- soy, pecan, walnut, and cashews! God Bless, Lynda Phil. 4:8

Annette, Hi! To answer your question about the outage: When I called to report the outage, they said that they had a breakdown at the main power plant. At least 10-15 miles around didn't have electricity. The public school had a delay this am too. I think it came back on around 8:30 am. Thanks for asking, and I am still sooooo happy for you, lady!!!!! Love, Cindy

Hey Howdy Hey~ It's great to be alive and snowed in!! We have nearly 10 inches of snow!! But, I don't mind the white stuff. I am busy getting my life in order. I meet with the surgeon tomorrow at 4:15 p.m. So, hopefully I will get some advice and questions answered. I prayed for you all tonight! Blessings~ Becky
