Hey D~ Sorry I missed you all, I actually have TWO sick children...PUKING flu...UGH! On another note, I was thinking about the Bible Study idea. Here is my thought. Would it be okay if we forewent (is that a word?) the Bible Study for a while and just did a general chat. NOT that I don't think we should be in the Word of God! Rather, I am just getting to know folks and would just like to chat about some day to day things. Tuesday's are usually fine, but I don't want to make a HUGE committment and then let everyone down. Kind of like tonight. I was just thinking something a bit more informal. This way we can talk about WLS, life etc. What does everyone else think? Dawn?? Is that okay with you. Honestly that was my intent. (getting to know eachother and just chillin') I was just hoping that if it appeared more structured, more people would show up. Oh well!! Live and learn. Maybe a good idea would be to post a message if your online and want to chat OR download Yahoo messenger and then we will know who's online and send instant messages. Dawn, I want to thank you for your encouragement about my surgeon admitting he is not a Christian. This was our first one on one meeting and I was giving him my testimony of how I once was addicted to drugs and how my life has been transformed. He then replied, "I believe in redemption." At that point he opened the door for me to ask, "are you a Christian?" When he said "no", I stated, "I am." He then replied, "Yes, I know." I know God is placing people in his life to be an example and a witness to him. Dawn you have such a loving heart and a gift for exhortation . I apologize I wasn't aware of your chat session. I'm sitting here at my desk (at work) smiling with tears in my eyes!! I just took a spiritual gifts test 2 weeks ago and scored the highest on exhortation! Wow. It is one thing to take the test and examine yourself, but when someone else sees the same things..it's a wonderful confirmation. God Bless, Dawn

Heavenly Father, I praise you for giving Dawn a confirmation! Lord, we may be hundreds or thousands of miles away physically, but Lord you remind us that we are connected and distance is no obstacle for you. I thank you Holy Spirit for speaking to our hearts. Dawn, Sorry that I didn't take the time to check out the chat room. I was straightening up our living room and setting up my C-PAP machine so that I can sleep in bed tonight instead of the recliner!!!! Thank You, Lord! Hi Dawn. Sorry I missed out too. Do we have to download something to make this happen? I think I tried to join another chat room, and it told me to download something. I was just a little nervous about doing so, but it would be worth it to have a chat with everyone. I too appreciate your determination to make this happen.
