How cool is this?

Hi Laura, God's timing is always perfect! We are so glad you found us and I pray we may be a blessing to you. I read your profile - you look wonderful! My husband and I were at Clearwater Beach last year but my pictures don't look that good! But I'm going back someday and they will look a lot better! I just had surgery 6 weeks ago and I'm down 57 pounds and thanking the Lord for this wonderful gift He gave me. It will be nice to have you around so we can ask someone who has been there for a while a few questions here and there. How are things going? Is it hard to keep the weight off? Hi Lynda. Thanks for the compliments! I always say I am not sure who's body this is but I will take it! I still think in some ways I am still heavy in my mind. It's crazy! I had a really rough recovery and was pretty sick for months. I threw up constantly. I think it was a good year before I felt really good. I can not believe it has been almost 2 1/2 yrs since I had WLS. Even with all the negative at the beginning I would still do it again in a heartbeat. I was actually down to 115 a year ago - very scary. Everyone kept saying I needed to put on weight and it made me really mad. Then I saw a picture of myself and I understood what they were saying. I am now maintaining 131-134 and in a size 6. I feel better and definetly look better. I do not seem to have any problem keeping it off. I still weigh myself daily to make sure I do not lose or gain too much. I pretty much eat what I want although sugar does bother me most of the time. I eat mostly sugar free stuff. My lab tests are always great which I am grateful. Life is good and God is ALWAYS good! I am so glad you took the time to email me. Feel free to email me anytime - I am on every morning.
