I have a prayer request

I come on and lurk on your board. I've posted once or twice, but I always read the encouragement from you all. I'm having surgery tomorrow and I'm scared. I've given it to God, but I'm asking anyone who has a spare second of prayer to please pray for my recovery and safe passage through surgery. Thank you Diane

Diane~ This request is SO TIMELY for me. As surgery draws near I find that I am VERY AFRAID. I can TOTALLY empathize with you and I will absolutely be praying for you. It IS scary. Lord, I lift Diane to you Daddy God. It's times like these that I feel like you are more like a Daddy than a Father. I know you love Diane. She is your little girl, she is your precious daughter. Lord, you love her more than anyone loves her. Help her to literally FEEL that love envelope her. Lord Jesus, keep her fear away, keep Satan far from her, send your Holy Spirit to protect her from evil thoughts that make her feel weak and worried. Lord, we know you are our rock and salvation. You are our stronghold, nothing can move you. You are our refuge, our rock, our redeemed and our conquerer. We have no reason to fear when we are in You, but sometimes our earthly minds cannot wrap themselves around this concept. Father, Lord, Daddy, PLEASE help Diane have the peace that passes all understanding. Guard her heart and mind in Christ Jesus. Allow her to sense that if everything else falls away you will STILL be there. Nothing can seperate her from You, not life, death, anesthesia, surgery, fear...NOTHING can keep you from her. That is the courage she can take as she steps into the ring. Lord, you are THERE! You already have the outcome planned and no matter what happens you are IN IT! Watch over her, make the surgeons hands swift and sure. Let the surgery go without a hitch. In Jesus name~ Amen

Dear Diane, Congatulations on having surgery tomorrow! You are off on a new journey! Dear Lord, Please be with my sister, Diane, and give her the courage to go through WLS. Give her peace and confidence in You, Lord, that she may know that she is in good hands. Guide the doctor and nurses and others who may be caring for her. Please, Lord, let the surgery go smoothly and may you be glorified in all of it. Help her recovery to be quick and without incident. My surgery is at 7:00 am CST. Thank you all for your prayers. I'm still scared, but I know it is in the Lord's hands. Diane
