I thought it might be fun to ask a question of everyone.
QUESTION: If you could have ONE thing each (spiritual, emotional or material) for Christmas, what would it be?
My answer: spiritual: salvation for my unsaved family members. emotional: humility. material: sewing machine
If you don't want to participate in the question that is fine, but please go ahead and post to let us know you're with us!!! It's always encouraging to see everyone!!! Love you all!!! Cindy
Hi Cindy!
I almost started roll call this am, but I knew no one was up but me anyways at 5am EST. It is now almost 2....have been home from church just a little while. Today was my first day back singing on the worship team since my surgery. We have 3 services now, so I am tired....but it is a good kind of tired....I got up at 5am...but went to bed about 2am. Could not sleep cause of a headache. So....like I said....I am really tired....but it was good to be back. But...I found out that I will need to go shopping! The shirt I wore was so baggy! It made me feel good and bad at the same time! Here I was on the stage lookin frumpy. So...anyway...I guess I need to go through my closet this week. That is what I went through all of this for. LOL.
As for your question...I'd have to agree about the spiritual salvation of the family members. I was talking to my husband about a family member I am concerned about last night. That person does not live here...so I can't just talk to them as much as I would like, but I hope at Christmas when they visit I can find out where they are in their walk. Emotional...I am going to say patience for that one...some may say it does not fit...I say I can make it...LOL....Material....New house
I hope everyone is having a great day! I am going to go take a nap!
Stephanie

Hey you Missie Lou-la-belle ~
Thanks for taking on ROLL CALL! You are such an awesome sister! Well I am doing wonderfully. I sent the mass email to my family and friends about my surgery. I am going to post it in another post. Tell me what you think. I pray the response is positive!
I am doing fairly well. I miss my dh a LOT. But, he will be home very soon!!
To answer your questions:
Spiritually ~ I would LOVE for all my unsaved family to come to Christ. BUT, there is one girl in particular who I want to make the committment
this year. She is SO CLOSE!! I just pray that she takes the leap of faith.
Emotionally ~ That my fears that keep cropping up about WLS will fade away. As it nears I get a little scared.
Physically ~ The Magic Bullet Blender!
Blessings~
Becky
If I could have one request for each this Christmas it would be:
Spiritual: Truly that once again, our country would be "one nation under God".
Emotional: That everyone would have a place to call home and food on their table and family or friends to share with.
Material: Enough financial provision that my husband and I could do short term medical missionary work when we retire.

Hello everyone! Well, we made it back to GA. We had a great time with our families back in AR. It was so good to spend the week with them. As for the question:
Spiritual: I would have to agree on our nation being "one nation under God"
Emotional: I have two nephews (brothers) that won't speak to each other anymore, I would love to see them back together as brothers.
Material: My own home, we rent right now and I would love to have a home that I could truly call mine.
Well, our family has grown a little. We brought home a beagle puppy and she is a cutie! We named her Bell. My kitten isn't so sure about her though. Anyway, I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving. I'll ttyl. --love, Shelly
