*** Saturday Roll Call ***
Good morning everyone!
I have enjoyed my Thanksgiving so much this year. Isn't that a surprise? I noticed that all of you were also saying how nice it was not to be overeating this year. What a praise! Holidays was one of the things that I thought would be so hard when I was considering WLS. What a relief. I still had to have my post turkey nap though. I had so much fun shopping yesterday. I got myself a treadmill! I bought a floor model that was slightly damaged and got 30% off. Then when I came back that evening to pick it up, they said they found a new one in a box and asked if I would rather have it...and I still got the 30% off!!! Wow! I also got a Magic Bullet. Guys this is a must have for the protein shakes. Until now, I have been shaking. For some reason the blender put too much air into the shakes. With the bullet, minimal air! I put crushed ice, Isopure Vanilla, half a banana, 1 tbs natural peanut butter (no added sugar or fat) and FF milk and BAM! A delicious shake that I can actually drink! Thank you God for even the smallest victories! I hope you guys are all doing well.
Annette, if you are reading this, hang in there, it will get better. I spent a long time on liquids too and then one day, I could eat. I don't know how to explain it. Well actually, I just chalk it up to God and His timing. His perfect timing! Thank you God for your perfect timing and not listening to my whining! I hope you all have a day filled with the Joy of the Lord!
Love, Jacinda
Good Morning JJ
It is a great morning, it is about 10 degrees and about 3 inches of snow on the ground up here in North Bay Ontario Canada. I just came back from shopping and picked up two magis bullits for $40 USD each ($50Canadian). How is the weather in Houston? Great to hear that you did well on your Sargent's exams. I have a son in Houston who is studying to become a Priest. He is with an order called The Legionaries of Christ. He is in Houston and San Antonio for three years working with youth. When we last talked he was telling me that he and a Priest that he works with brought some youth to New Orleans to help clean up. They plan to go back after Chriastmas to help out more. My Lap-Rny is on Dec.7th at Barix in Ypsilanti Mi. My wife and I are heading down on the 4th for my pre-op testing on the 5th. After that is done it is out for the perverbial "Last Supper" before surgery. Take care!
God Bless
Randy

Hello everyone,
It's a beautiful morning. I can feel The Holy Spirit in my soul this morning~He feels so good thank you Jesus! I love this time of year An entire month to just relax and celebrate the birth of our Lord and Savior! GOD IS AWESOME!!! We put up our nativity scene yesterday, Along with light's and outside decor. Now I have to figure out how to make a sign to go along with the nativity scene I want it to say "Born to die that man may live", but I don't want it to look tacky ~ any idea's out there? The 22nd. was my grandson's 5th. birthday. We went shopping to get some thing's for his B.D. party today. We were only going to get what was on the list, but some thing were just to good to pass up ~ like the really nice big thick bath towels we got~ buy 1 get 2 free wow. I feel really good. I decided to double up my vitamins, two in the morning, and two at night. After three days of jus****er, and tea, I thought I would try the protein drink's again. I put 1 cup of isopure in the blender and added 1 scoop of the protein powder. It was a little bit thick, but still drinkable. It took me an hour and 40 minutes to drink it, but it gave me 40gr. of protein in 8oz's. I couldn't believe it I was able to get 42oz's. of fluid in without getting sick~ Praise the Lord! Today I tried mixing 2 scoops of the protein powder in 1 cup of the isopure for 60gr. protein. It is very thick, and I'm using a baby spoon to eat it. It has taken almost two hours to get it down so far. I have to stop for a while though because I'm feeling full. I'll finish the rest later. My daughter helped me wrap saran wrap around me so I could get a shower last night. It didn't work The bandages, and steri strips got all wet and came off~ but guess what all but 2 of my incisions were healed. I needed to put two butterfly bandaids on them, but think they'll be fine in a couple of day's. Wow this was really long. Hope you all are doing great today. Remember to stay in His will and in His service. It's truely rewarding to the heart. Still praying for those woh have asked, and those that haven't.
God bless you All,
ya

Hello Friends~
Thanksgiving went BEAUTIFULLY at my home! That is a huge praise. I had both dh's family and my family here at my home and it went amazingly well. I shouldn't be suprised at God, but WOW!
I talked to Ken (husband) he is doing very well. He hasn't made any comments about surgery since the time I emailed him so I am not sure what the deal is. I sure hope he isn't just in denial??? I am praying for clarity as far as that is concerned.
I meet with my surgeon on Tuesday at 4:15 pm CST. I will let you know after that when my surgery is scheduled. As I said before it will be before the end of the year, the question now is WHAT DAY??? So, I am anxious and excited for that day to come.
Well, I am glad you all are doing well, I pray for you often and I look forward to hearing how everyone else is doing. Have a blessed day friends!!
Blessings~
Becky
