Hello there Brothers and Sisters in Christ~ I just wanted to pop in and say that I have been praying for you all. I am busy getting ready for Thanksgiving. Everyone is coming here. I am even MIXING FAMILIES! That means dh's family and my family will BOTH be here! Yikes. But, between both families. Three of the kids are deployed! So, we thought it would be nice to be together and remember them as they are away. How are you all doing? Blessings and much love~

Hi Becky!!! It is snowing here and looks beautiful outside! We probably have two inches on the ground so far....so we're gonna' have a "white Thanksgiving". We have Thanksgiving at my parent's home tomorrow for lunch and supper. They just live right down the road from us. My two brothers won't be there or their families, so there won't be as many people there as normal. My two sisters and their families will be there though. I hope you all have a wonderful day tomorrow! We have so much to be thankful for!!!! I thank God for this surgery!!!!!!! My life is soooo much better now (even though I'm STILL stalled! ). And I am so thankful for all of YOU!!!! What a blessing each of you have been...just knowing you are here....my sisters in Jesus! Just think, even though we may never meet each other in the flesh on this earth, we will live together forever in heaven BECAUSE OF JESUS being our Savior!!!!! Thank You Sweet Jesus! What a reunion we will have!!! I love you all! God bless! Cindy

Hello there my sister Becky! I'm not busy at all and have no plans. How am I doing? mmmmm good question. I need to post that I need prayer. My ex hubby...the one who decided to leave me 9 months ago and divorced me 5 months ago, decided to come home last night. My boss asked me earlier why he's (my exhubby-Joe) been coming around more often and asked if it was a good thing and I said it's a good thing but it's also a bad thing. It's a good thing because it's good, but it's a bad thing because I don't want to. We both laughed because i confused him and he asked if there was anything he could do for me...all i said was PRAYER. I need lots of it. Hugs and I'm sorry for rambling about myself.. Have a blessed holiday, Letty

HI!!! We are doing our own thing this year, just me, dh, and the kids. We are going to take our son to the Thanksgiving High School football game to watch our HS rivals battle it out. My son just started midget league football this year and LOVES it (I posted a pic of him in his gear on my profile). We figured we can start a family tradition. I hope you all have a safe and wonderful holiday...God Bless!! Dawn

Becky, I think thats a great idea. You all have quite a lot in common. Hope it goes well and you enjoy the day. Cynthia I weighed the same for almost 2 weeks. Just today I dropped a bit. Tomorrow is my one month post op date and I am down only 23 pounds from my weight the day of surgery. But I'm following instructions to the best of my ability and I think I will keep losing. But I'm not setting any records for speed! My youngest son and family arrived Monday with their new pet--a French Bulldog who makes the most disgusting sounds with her nose and mouth and its continual. She snores in her sleep but thats the quietest she ever is. Glad she is just a guest! My daughter in law's mom will be with us too on Thanksgiving Day as well as my brother's family. I enjoy them all but its a bit like controlled caos! My other two sons families can't be here but we enjoy the ones that get to come. Hope everyone has a lovely day whether with family and friends or just a quiet time to reflect on their own. We are so blessed! If the Lord had never done anything else for us except to give us eternal life through Jesus it would have been enough. But he gives us blessings on top of blessings besides. Hugs to my sisters in christ Gina

Hi Becky, Cindy, Letty, Dawn, Gina, and Everyone! Here is wishing everyone a very Blessed Thanksgiving! I am so thankful for all of you - you are my family and I thank God for the fellowship I have in all of your love! Cindy, SNOW! I love snow! My DH took me up to some of the ski resorts in our area to do a snow check last weekend and it was so beautiful! On the way up we had a doe and her two fawn walk across the road right in front of us and they stopped and looked at us for the longest time and when we reached the top I just melted into Mark's arms because the moon was almost full and the snow just glistened on the pine trees! We just praised the Lord together - awesome and romantic! I am looking so forward to the ski season this year!! I am laying out a feast tomorrow and already having so much fun! My kids and grandkids will all be here! Love ya all! God Bless, Lynda Phil. 4:8

Hi everyone. I know, I'm late again in posting, but I couldn't let the day go by without thanking all of you for your prayers yesterday. I am feeling much better today emotionally. Sometimes things just sneak up and get you. That was yesterday. Today is a whole new, shiny day, and I thank our Lord for another day. I have had less pain today, and I actually slept in our bed for a couple of hours last night before I got back in the hospital bed. I KNOW that was because of your prayers. Thank you and thank you, Father God. My DH and I are spending Thanksgiving together....just the two of us! It's the first time in almost 38 years of marriage that I don't have to share him with anyone. Our two grown sons are spending Thanksgiving with the other side of their family. We were invited, but we really just wanted to spend some time together. Our 38th anniversary falls the day after Thanksgiving, but it is also our older grandson's 8th birthday. He was such a nice present for our 30th anniversary....our first grandchild! Anyway, my DH and I are packing a picnic lunch and driving to the coast for Thanksgiving Day and then driving back home. We will see all the family the following day at our grandson's birthday party. I think we will invite our kids and grandkids to our house next weekend and have a Thanksgiving meal then. I need to use that bird I bought! God bless you all. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving. We have so much to be thankful for. I pray for all our men and women in the service who keep our country strong, and I also pray for their families who support them on the homefront. God bless them all, and God bless America. Love, Peg
