Father God~ You know a little bit about being a Dad and how important that job is. Well, Lynda knows too. Her Daddy is her cheerleader, mentor and friend. Lord, his body is so weak and torn from treatments. Lord, we just ask for mercy. PLEASE let these treatments be successful. What a wonderful way to celebrate the birth of your son. What incredible joy it would bring to this family to know that this man is healed. Lord, we know that this is a lot to ask, but we also know you are great and mighty. But, we trust YOUR WILL in this situation and ask that whatever happens you continue to bring Lynda and her Daddy closer and draw him nigh unto You. We ask all this in the name of your son Jesus~ Amen

Heavenly Father, Here I sit, hundreds of miles away from Bob, only knowning him as a name and a story, but through the distance I feel a connection to His heart and His love for you. Right now I ask you to touch his body with Your finger of love. Heal him right now as he lays on the bed of affliction crying out to you God. You are the doctor that never lost a patient. When the doctors of this world say, 'there is nothing more we can do' we know that there is much much more. We can lay it before the cross of Your Son that has already given us everything we need. Father if it is not in your will to free him of the cancer that is attacking his body, we ask right now in the name of Jesus that you give him peace that passes all understanding. Take away any pain, both physical and emotional. Comfort him, hold Him so close he can feel Your heart beating harmoniously with his.
