Hello Cindy and all. Love joining in the group! cindy I have also sort of stalled out and trying to keep a good attitude. I am thrilled with what I have lost but so much want to see the pounds keep coming off. I think I have been at the same weight for almost 2 weeks and I am just 4 weeks out! But I had a 1 pound loss yesterday so that was at least a bit. I am not weighing every day but probably every other day. I did not even have a scale till after I had surgery but couldn't resist getting one. I keep wondering if I am eating too much or not enough or WHAT! I guess if we keep doing the right stuff the weight will come off. Hope you see some progress soon, sure helps. Peg, I just felt aching inside in reading what you have been going through. I join the others who will be remembering you in prayer. Prayer does change things! Hope all are having a great day.

Howdy Cindy and Everyone! Cindy and Peg, I know I've told you before, but you guys are my heros. You have both been through so much and yet you both just keep praising the Lord. Peg, you have been through so much that you were bound to have a down day. Don't give it a second thought. Did you injure your shoulder or could it be arthritis? My grandmother had arthritis in both of her shoulders and she had to have one replaced and the other "cleaned out". I know she felt much better after the surgeries. I know whatever it is, God will get you through this too. Just like he did with everything else. Cindy, I really feel for you. I know this two week stall must be pretty discouraging. I have read MANY profiles on this site and I have not found one person who did not have a stall or 20. I KNOW that you will start losing again and probably soon and in big strides. Just remember, when was the last time you lost 44 lbs in what...5 weeks? That's almost 10 lbs a week! You are doing awesome! There was a man in the hospital at the same time I was and the nurses told me that he had been there a few times and that he had lost 250 lbs in a year. Of course, he started over 500 but even for him, 250 in a year was too much and caused him to have a lot of nutrional issues. A little slow down is probably in your best interest right now. I would agree with Lynda and just stop weighing yourself for a while. Lynda, I am also looking forward to cooking a feast and eating 2 oz. I am going to eat 2 oz 5 times on Thanksgiving though I am really enjoying my new life now that I can eat food. Even though it is only a little, I am satisfied and happy. Praise God! I am loving this new tool! I don't know how Cindy can remember all of these names! I am so thrilled to see all of the new names. God is really moving in this group. And, for that matter, Satan is also sending some attacks on some of our strongest sisters! It is up to us to lift each other up in prayer daily and fight of his attacks. I have seen him defeated time and time again just on this board alone! Praise God that we have Him and each other! God is good!!! Love, Jacinda

Hi Jacinda. I always look forward to reading what you have to say, dear Sister in Christ. Enjoy your turkey day. Did I ever congratulate you on your huge success in passing the sergeant's test? That is so awesome! I plan on getting a good night's sleep tonight, and I know I will feel better in the morning. The one constant we have in life is knowing that the Lord hears our every prayer. He is so faithful, and even though I may not be feeling on top of the world today, still I lift my arms in praise to our Almighty Father. Thanks again, everyone, for lifting me up on prayer. "Where two or more are gathered......" There's a whole bunch of us, and I know we have strength in numbers! God bless each and every one of you and your families. I think I'm going to go get started making of list of all the things for which I am grateful/thankful. It's a pretty long list so I may not get back for a day or two! One of them is this wonderful Christian messageboard. God bless. In His Love, Peg

Cindy and all~ I am praying for you. Tonight I prayed for every name listed and for those NOT listed. Cindy~I KNOW I will have a time when I am stalled and you will encourage the heck out of me. But, I don't know what to say other than. I AM PRAYING! I never say that if I don't mean it, so that is what I have to offer. Thanks for the chat. We missed you at the end. Steph and I were like the Cheese in the Farmer and the Dell!! But, we made a go of it. The point: I JUST LOVE YOU! I am doing SO much better today than yesterday. Yesterday was honestly horrible! And like Peg said it is REALLY HARD to ask for prayer. But WOW...did you all come through for me! I updated HERE: http://www.obesityhelp.com/forums/christianity/postdetail/5866.html?vc=0 WLS STUFF: I got the call from the nurse. My H. Pylori and Gallbladder US came back and both were fine. I meet with the surgeon on Tuesday, Nov 29th to set up a surgery date. They KNOW it will be before the end of the year because that is all my insurance is approved for! So, that is an exciting tidbit! Blessings~ Becky
