The enemy lost the war, but still trys to fight

Hi all, this weekend has been full of obstacles. I haven't mentioned this yet, but my husband is a minister. After A LOT of prayer, we feel the Lord telling us it is time to go to another church. We came to this decision because we both know there is a call on our lives to do something great for God and the church we are in now has no room for growth. We made an announcement last week that this week would be our last week there. That in itself has caused much emotional pain. We have developed a love for the members of that church. Well yesterday we went grocery shopping and on the way home our van was acting up. Everytime it changes gears it is like someone is rear-ending us. (the van shakes that violently). We did make it to church today, however we were 1/2 hour late. (we had to call someone from church to come pick us up.) I have no idea what is wrong with it but Tuesday are my appointments with the dietitian and psychologist. I have waited close to a month for these appointments and I refuse to cancel them because of my vehicle! Can you guys agree with me in prayer about my van? I know that the enemy is trying to mess everything up for us and I'm not allowing it. Jesus defeated him at Calvery but he still tries to fight a loosing battle. Well the fights been fought and the battles been won..we've got victory in Jesus...so I'm giving this to Him. God Bless, Dawn

Dawn, Boy I can relate! We've been there, many times and the funny thing is, it always seems to happen right when something else is going on, meaning a personal/emotional/or physical struggle. Dawn, I too am joining you in prayer. Lord, you told us to bring everything to you in prayer. I am asking that you be with Dawn and her family as they seek to serve You and to do Your will. I also pray in the precious name of Jesus that you keep Satan away from this family and allow Dawn to make it to her doctor's appointments. DAWN, YOU ARE IN MY PRAYERS. IN THE 70'S I OWNED A LITTLE DATSUN STATIONWAGON. I WORKED NIGHT SHIFT IN A NURSING HOME. THAT CAR HAD A HABBIT OF JUST SHUTTING OFF AND WOULDN'T START UP AGAIN. I WAS ON A BYPASS HEADED HOME AND IT STARTED ACTING UP AND I PULLED OFF AND IT QUIT ON ME.. I WAS IN MY 30'S, SCARED TO BE OUT ALONE THAT TIME OF NIGHT (AFTER MIDNIGHT). Dawn, I pray that Jesus will show himself to be your supplier and sole provider! He is faithful and will see you through. Jesus, you see my sister's needs. They are real and immediate. I ask you to meet those needs. You have seen your servants faithful. I pray that their conquering King will once again defeat the enemy on their behalf.
