The Best Prayer I Have Heard In A Long Time............

Hi Everbody, Would like to share this pray a friend sent me. I hope all enjoy it as much as I did. In His love and mine, Debbie G. Heavenly Father, Help us remember that the jerk who cut us off in traffic last night is a single mother who worked nine hours that day and is rushing home to cook dinner, help with homework, do the laundry and spend a few precious moments with her children. Help us to remember that the pierced, tattooed, disinterested young man who can't make change correctly is a worried 19-year-old college student, balancing his apprehension over final exams with his fear of not getting his student loans for next semester. Remind us, Lord, that the scary looking bum, begging for money in the same spot every day (*****ally ought to get a job!) is a slave to addictions that we can only imagine in our worst nightmares. The old couple walking annoyingly slow through the store aisles and blocking our shopping progress are savoring this moment, knowing that, based on the biopsy report she got back last week, this will be the last year that they go shopping together. Heavenly Father, remind us each day that, of all the gifts you give us, the greatest gift is love. It is not enough to share that love with those we hold dear. Open our hearts not to just those who are close to us, but to all humanity. Let us be slow to judge and quick to forgive, show patience, empathy and love. Amen

Debbie, Thank you for sharing this with us, This brought tears to my eyes. We are so blessed, by the gifts from His hands, But sometimes we don't take the time to look at them. Thank you Lord for your wonderful blessings. Please remind me to be kind to others and not to judge them or any one for that matter. Father help us to recognise all of the blessing's you grant to us on a daily basis, some are big, but most are small things that we take for granted daily. Thank you Father for the extras that you have blessed us with, like computers, and cars, and homes just to name a few. So many people dont have these luxuries in their lives and struggle just to survive in this cold caloused world. The Earth is your footstool Father, but what have we as man done to it. father let us reach out to those who are less fortunate than ourselves. Let us share your grace and love to those who are willing to hear your voice. Father please forgive me for being judgemental to others. I ask that you would let me help others instead. Thank you Jesus, This I ask in Jesus name amen. God bless you, Annette
