Good morning gang! I am just stopping in for a quick hello and then I am off to hit the books. I had a great weekend...well sorta. I studied half the day on Sat and then went to church for the first time since surgery on Sat night! It was good to be back in church. I had really missed it. Yesterday, I studied all day. I only have 30 pages left to read in the last book and then I can start reviewing all the materials. The sergeant's exam is this Thursday so please keep me in your prayers. Have a wonderful day and I pray that everyone is filled with the joy of the Lord! Love, Jacinda

Wow, sounds like you are going to be busy. Well, I've been working but am taking a short break. I need to wash a load of clothes and when the washer is going, I can't hear the dictation, so I have to take a break. The girls and I went to see Zathura on Saturday and really enjoyed it. We had a pretty good weekend all weekend long considering daddy isn't here. Anyway, everyone have a blessed day!! Shel

Good morning! God's mercies are new everyday and He has given me this day to enjoy! I had a great weekend - the Lord is so precious. Now it is time to do my work as onto the Lord and give this week and my eating to Him. I pray you all have a wonderful Monday with God's blessings! God Bless, Lynda Phil. 4:8

I am doing well today too!! I called the surgeon's office, evidently they don't have the paperwork yet. So, I am back on the wait-weight train!! My dh just sent the most amazing email. I will attach part of it. His faith has grown LEAPS and BOUNDS in the last 10 years. I never dreamed I would receive such an email from him. He is TDY and while there he visited a local Children's Cancer Center here is what he said: ~~~*********** Eight of us prepared ourselves for the worst, but for me it was the best! We were told it would be awkward at first and it was with the language barrier and our initial reaction to the environment. We had an interpreter that was excellent at explaining a lot about life there. I can't begin to express how the experience has changed me. My attitude immediately changed and I can't wait until Nov 27th when I can return. Afterwards, we went shopping at a local mall called the "Zum" where I purchased some puzzles, play dough, and toys for the children. I pray that I'll be able to bring the games and toys to the children on the 27th. We went room to room and that was difficult, but later we went into a playroom where we played games with the children. The kids relaxed and so did we which led to some good play time and laughter. I gave the kids my digital camera and they took all the pictures. The kids loved taking pictures and seeing the results of the picture immediately. The $100 camera I purchased was in my opinion not the "best quality" and I struggled with the decision to purchase it at all. After Sunday, I believe it was God that purchased that camera. Those kids took so many pictures, I had to eventually sort and delete the really bad ones so they could take more. The other guys on the trip also gave their cameras to the kids and the kids just kept taking picture after picture laughing at the results. ******************~~~ He is my HERO!!! What a blessing to be able to be with those little children and bring them joy during a VERY difficult time! WOW...pretty humbling. Blessings~ Becky S

Hi Jacinda, Shel, Lynda, Becky, Rosie, and anyone else who posts. God is good all the time. I went in for physical therapy this morning on my shoulder. I'm glad I am finally well enough to do something about it. Thank you, Lord. Then I took care of my 4-yr. old grandson for a couple hours. Things just don't get much better than that! The sun is shining, and we are supposed to have about a week without rain. Now THAT REALLY is a blessing! I am so glad that we can all pray for each other. Jacinda, I'm praying that you will do really well on your sergeant's exam. Just take it easy and don't overdo it. Okay? God bless you all. Peg
