I'm APPROVED!!

I am just back from a long weekend trip. I am exhausted, but I HAD to come post the good news: I AM APPROVED!!! I got a letter in the mail. Boy, it's not so fun to read Dx:Morbid Obesity! But, I know that God is clearly saying "YES!" to WLS and becoming healthy! The doors are opening at every turn. While the diagnosis is humbling, it is also TRUE and that, my brothers and sisters, is exactly why I am here!! Thanks for your prayers. I will let you know when I have a surgery date. I was just admiting to Steph that I kinda hounded the insurance company. I called them twice to "see if they needed any other info!" Then both times I asked if it was approved. The letter was marked November 9th (or 10th??) So, it was like 6 days!!! That is fast, huh?? I am looking at it as God saying "YEP! This is the right decision, you go girl!" Blessings~ Becky

PS: I think I will need a date before the end of this year. The approval letter is only for that long! So, I will call the surgeon and try to get it as close to Dec 31 (Dh comes home!) as possible!! Pray for a date if you think of it... Blessings~ Becky

yeah! Becky that,s awesome news! Iknow it was a great day for me when I got the news! I am 10 months post-op now. I have lost 145#s!! My life is so completely differant now.God is so good!!! I had NO problems with the surgery.The Lord has helped me all along the way,as I am sure He will be with you! Congratulations and God bless you as you begin this incredible journey!!! Melinda

Thanks so much Wendy Anne, Melinda and Peg! I am praising God about the news. I can't even believe it's going to happen. This hasn't been an overnight decision. I have been contemplating surgery for about 4 years!! But, now that I started the process things are moving very quickly. I am praying that God is in the details!! Melinda ~ congratulations on your loss you look amazing! Peg ~ You are such a gift! I cannot believe what you have endured and STILL there is a smile on your face! Wendy Anne ~ Congratulations on moving forward. It looks like you have overcome some BIG battles. Telling family and friends is sometimes the hardest part!
