My husband had WLS, Jan 05. He developed a hernia in July, that started out at 3-4 cm. long. He had repair work done this past Thurs. It grew to 14 cm long!! The surgery lasted 3 hrs. If it isn't enough to go through surgery again, he has developed a bladder infection, (kind of rare for men). He's on meds and pain killers, but he is just so pathetic. He's not a complainer and tries not to bother people when he isn't feeling well. (By no means is he a martyr though). Does anyone know how long the painful symptoms last on men, with regard to bladder infections? It's difficult to hear the poor fella moan when he's trying to go. He's had 2 doses of antibiotics so far. Also, any advice on how to help him feel a little more comfortable? Any suggestions will be appreciated. Thanks all, Sally

Hi Sally. I don't have a clue how to help your husband other than to pray for him...and for you. It must be really difficult to hear him struggle so. I am lifting you both up in prayer right now. In Him, Peg
