My last Christian Humor

Give me a sense of humor, Lord, Give me the grace to see a joke, To get some humor out of life, And pass it on to other folk! Sunday after church, a Mom asked her very young daughter what the lesson was about. The daughter answered, "Don't be scared, you'll get your quilt." Needless to say, the Mom was perplexed. Later in the day, the pastor stopped by for tea and the Mom asked him what that morning's Sunday school lesson was about. He said "Be not afraid, thy comforter is coming." A Sunday School teacher began her lesson with a question, "Boys and girls, what do we know about God?" A hand shot up in the air. "He is an artist!" said the kindergarten boy. "Really? How do you know?" the teacher asked. "You know - Our Father, who does art in Heaven... " There is the story of a pastor who got up one Sunday and announced to his congregation: "I have good news and bad news. The good news is, we have enough money to pay for our new building program. The bad news is, it's still out there in your pockets." "Somebody has said there are only two kinds of people in the world. There are those who wake up in the morning and say, "Good morning, Lord," and there are those who wake up in the morning and say, "Good Lord, it's morning." Good Nite All Rosie

Hi Rosie, When you say my last Christian humor ~ I do hope you mean of the night. I enjoy the sense of humor you have been blessed with. I hope you won't let certain people from other fourms deter you, because they feel a need to be in control of what others are saying. Sometimes I honestly think some people want to have a relationship with the Lord, But may be ashamed or embarrased to admit that out loud. They may see it as a weakness. We all know that every knee shall bow, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord. Just because we can't see The Lord dosn't mean He's not here. We Know He's here! People can pretend all they want to but deep in the heart we all know he's here. It's a real shame that their eyes "are covered with scales" so they cannot see. It will be worse for those who once walked with the Lord but turned their backs and walked away from him. It's not our job to convert people. Only God can do that. It's our job to bring them the message. If they belong to the Lord They will come to Him. In His time. I don't know why I'm writing all of this. Maybe it was meant for someone out there? God bless you Rosie, Annette

Hi Annette, Well I do admit it was going to be my last joke here. I don't want to offend anyone. I'm not here for that. I was feeling kinda down after reading the post that was sent to me. But now that I read what you all think and that it makes you smile, then its all worth it! Its just like the word of God,whenever we go outreaching and just sharing our life testimonies, and just spending our Saterday's just trying to reach souls each and every weekend and then when we call out and invite them to come out of there homes to accept the Lord and only 1 or 2 souls give their life to OUR Savior,Well its all worth IT!!!! So if only 1 or 2 folks on here like my little harmless jokes then its well worth it. I will be more careful not to offend anyone,God Bless you two and everyone here on board. Love You In Christ Rosie
