Prayer Request - Me and My Family

Dear JaNae, You, your daughter, and your parents will be in my prayers. It is hard enough to make the decision to have this surgery when you have support let alone when you need to convince others that it is the thing you want to do. Open honest communication is so important and even though others may not always agree, they will respect that you gave them a chance to voice their concerns. JaNae~ Praying for peace. Do what you need to do for YOU and your daughter. If that means you have surgery, I pray it is successful. If that means that you don't have surgery. I pray that God will bring you peace in that decision. Your parents and sister LOVE you. They will be there for you when you need them!! Blessings~

JaNae, You will be in my prayers. I know exactly how you feel, that is why I did not tell anyone, not even my parents & sisters until I knew I was approved and had a date set, because they would give me "their" opinion and try to talk me out of it. They were somewhat supportive but that did increase as they saw the change it made in my life as well as my husband (he had the same surg 6 wks after me). I still had a hard time telling everyone else most of all people at church because I felt they thought we took the easy way out. If no one else will support you, just know that you have thousands of supporters right here on OH, who know exactly how you feel and everything you are going through!! JaNae, I will also be praying for your parent's hearts to have understanding. There is probably some fear that they are having, so I will be praying against fear in them also! God bless you as begin your transformational journey!!!!! Cindy
