Good morning everyone. I hope you all had a wonderful weekend. I have a big praise today. Yesterday was my best day of eating and drinking yet. If I can continue in this direction I think I will get my energy back in no time. I am going to keep it short this morning (at least short for me). You are all in my prayers. Hello Jacinda and all!! I had a pretty good weekend. Didn't really do anything but it was good nonetheless. We enjoyed church on Sunday. Paul and I both have joined the choir. We both love to sing. I have some good news. My boss told me this morning that after this week he is going to let me go home!! Ya!!! I'll be able to get in more hours from home anyway. Anyway, everything is going good down here in the south. Kind of warm. High today is supposed to be 86. I really enjoyed those 70's when they were here. Anyway, have a Jesus filled day! Good morning all. I'm happy for your wonderful moment. God is good and he will continue to give you those moments,he will ya know! My weekend was good.Didnt do much,our guest speaker was wonderful on Sunday.After that we washed had pizza and then i went to bed at 5pm. I only had a bite of the pizza and had a small salad.I dont really like pizza.Good huh? Anyhow i didnt go jogging yesterday nite because I was so sore,and they told me not to run back to back that I needed to rest in between.Thats all folks. Have a wonderful day in Jesus. Hello Jacinda and Everyone! I had a great weekend. Enjoyed the Lord's Day yesterday. I am learning more and more about what I can and cannot eat. I am going to try exercising more this week. Sundays are my weigh in day and at 24 days out I am down 42 pounds! I am so glad I found this forum because everyone seems so nice. God Bless, Lynda

Hello there friends~ It sounds like everyone is doing pretty well. PRAISE GOD! I am doing well too. I called the insurance company today. They received my request Friday, Nov. 4th. The gal said they should know "at the end of the week." I don't forsee any problems, but if you wouldn't mind praying that all would go through without issue. I would be greatful. I am SO ready for this!! I posted my FIFTEEN. It was a LOT humbling and a LOT exciting to think about it becoming a reality. I will post it in another post. I pray you are all well. Hi Jacinda and everyone. This is just a quick note. I have been battling a cold for almost a week and am finally on the mend. Kind of scary...my first illness since my surgery August 12th. I wondered how my body would handle it without a spleen. So far, so good. We also had company for a few days. I weighed in this morning at 205 lbs, and I am really excited! That makes a total of 25 lbs. since my sugery August 12th and a total of 70 lbs. since my first surgery April 27, 2004, and almost 80 lbs. from my highest weight. I know that is not a speed record by any means, but I'll take it! I am working hard to regain my health after my battle with stomach cancer, and I believe I am winning that battle with the help of Christ who strengths me. I really appreciate this message board. It's so wonderful to be able to pray for each other and to share God's love for and with our fellow brothers and sisters in Christ. May God bless and keep you in His tender care. Peg
