Annette, It was painful. I couldnt sleep the night before surgery.I had a wierd feeling,like if i wasnt going to make it. I was quiet the whole ride down to the hospital. The ride was about 1 hour long. I was very emotional. I had your prayers and my church praying for me. And my husband prayed for me before they put me under. In the OR the nurse was on a cell phone call for about a good 20min and while doing so she was trying to find my vein at the same time. She couldnt find one and had 3 different nurses trying.It was so painful.I was crying all that time until finally they found a vein and that was it.I woke up just freezing and in so much pain.Both hands.I dont want to do my other hand now because it was horrible.I was more afraid of this surgery then when I had the gastric bypass.
