Prayer Request

hi folks, i am new to this board and i would like if you could remember me in your prayers (my name is Janene). i am 19 months post-op and am starting to worry about the plastic surgery that i need. the problem is is that i am getting very obssessed with the procedures i need and am doubting that God will provide the money or the approval of the health insurance. so if you could just ask the Lord for help on my behalf i would appreciate it. thank you and blessed wishes to all, janene

Janene, I have also struggled with the decision about PS. But I have finally realized that this decision is not a vanity issue, but more like a desire to look "normal" after huge weight loss. When I look in the mirror it is hard to see the accomplishment of the weight loss. I feel more at peace with my decision to proceed than I ever have before. God bless you! Georgina

thanks Georgina, i definitely want to look normal too and if it helps me to look better, then sure i'll take that too--i can't pretend before the Lord. but i am obsessing though, because no matter legit it might be wanting to be "normal", i can't let that become an obstacle to me seeking the Lord at all times you know? but i think that if i had the money or more like if the insurance company would pay for it (without all the problems they give) then i wouldn't be worrying like i am. so thank you and i covet you prayers. be blessed, janene

Have faith in God.If you have the faith the size of a mustard seed you can move mountains.It's hard alot of times to have faith.But I know God will make away for you.Just give it to him quit worring about it.Cause as long as we worry about it his hands are tied.So let Jesus have it.He's good about taking care of what we can't.Your in my prayers.Just remember He's the Great Physican. In God's time.Not mine.
