his name in vain

The non-believing world has focused only upon his name when they swear. I haven't heard anyone anyone say.."Oh Allah!" when they are angry. Nor do we hear someone saying, "Buddah-it!", or will we ever hear, "Joe F-ing Smith", when someone is full of rage. Do you think it is because those who hate the one true God focus upon his name to curse him? Something to ponder on. I hope this post won't be illiminated, my purpose it not to offend. It is to remind all Christians that the world and the non-believers don't quite understand the passage..."you will love me and hate the other, or you will love the other and hate me" I know for us his name is precious and sweet. His name has given me peace in a storm, strength in weakness and love in lonliness. Praise his lovely name. Sally Have a beautiful weekend friends.

Sally that was beautiful. Thank you. There was a time not to long ago that I often used His Holy precious name as a swear word. It breaks my heart to think I have used the Lord's name like that. I am so grateful that He is A forgiving God. I love Him so. His name is to be praised and lifted up. Thank you Jesus, Thank you Father. God bless you, Annette
