God's Abundance

I pray this blesses you all today. Jesus said to the Disciples, "Children, you do not have any fish, do you?" They answered Him, "No." And He said to them, "Cast the net on the right hand side of the boat and you will find a catch." So they cast, and then they were not able to haul it in because of the great number of fish. John 21: 5-6 The disciples were amazed with the impact Jesus made on their everyday lives. One minute, they couldn't catch any fish, but when they obeyed Him, they were overwhelmed with an abundant catch. They must have wondered what was so different about one side of the boat from the other. It was all the same water with the same fish. But to Jesus, the key was their obedience. They were willing to do things His way. This same principle applies in our lives today. Why can't we just do it HIS way? God puts us in situations to see if we are ready to do things His way. If we resist, He knows that we're not ready for His blessings. But if we submit ourselves to Him and do things His way, He knows we are ready for the responsibilities, riches, and blessings of His Kingdom. Do you want abundance in your life today? Do you want His greatest rewards? If you want these kinds of blessings, you must decide if you are ready to commit all of your ways to God and do things His way. The Lord will give you opportunities to show you are willing to obey Him. Will you resist and do things your own way? Or will you trust and obey Him? Right now, ask God to direct your steps and show you what He wants you to do. The Word of God tells us Psalm 37:23 (NKJV) "The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD, and He delights in his way." Does God delight in your ways as you obey Him? Look for opportunities to obey Him in matters great and small, spiritual and practical. And get ready for a new level of abundance in your life! God wants to take you to that next level TODAY! Randall
