Hello, I used to visit the Episcopal church some time ago but due to a really bad habit that I have I just stop atteding mass and the other activities in my church. I really miss all the people, and the close familiar feeling. We share the church with the English speaking community. The Hispanic community is small so we all treat each other like family, I miss that too but I just don't know how to go back.....it is kind of embarrassing. After I left the Episcopal Church I visited the Catholic church with my Mom and most recently started to study the bible with the JWs....Oh I feel like a failure, I don't think God is pleased with all this changes..... Any suggestions, please keep me in your prayers.....Celly

Celly, I pray the Lord will be with you and show you where HE would have you find Christian fellowship and Bible study. For sure I do not think you should stop meeting with other believers because of a bad habit in your life! We can gain a lot of strength in coming together frequently and being real with each other. We all have things in our life that we need the help of the Lord to overcome. Blessings! Gina

Celly, I am Episcopalian and was raised in a great traditional church. With recent changes in the church, I have to be careful that I attend a Bible-based church...period...regardless of denomination. I would ask that you pray and ask God for direction in your Bible study. Can I assume that the reference to JW in your email is Jehovah Witness? Please ask God to guide you (and He will) in the direction that truly sticks to the only true message that is in the Bible. Don't worry about changing churches (catholic vs episcopal), as long as you are in community with God and know his saving grace and follow his teachings, the church community will be icing on the top. I do know how wonderful a community of Christians can strengthen your walk with our Lord, so you will be ok. And this message board will also help you stay hooked in!! God loves you always and forever. Cynthia.

Hello Cynthia! Thanks for writing. I love the Episcopal Church I used to attend, Christ Church Cathedral, Springfield, MA. It is a close community where everybody knows everybody and there is a family environment, I miss going to the kitchen and having my cup of coffee before the celebration or helping with the children.....I am going to the services this sunday please pray for me, I really like the church and they have weekly bible study, and many other minitries....oh I miss them all and can't way to go back and stick to my faith in Christ and in his church who is the people... Celly
