I've been a member of OH for months and I honestly don't remember seeing this Christianity board. I'm glad I found it now...I'm having my surgery this coming Monday, October 24th and I'm getting nervous. I'm having it in the same hospital that my mom died in when I was 14. It was one of those things that I needed to "face my fear" and have faith that the Lord would just take care of me.

And he will be. Hoping all will be fine. Make sure you let us how you're doing once home, okay?

I will post as soon as I'm able to sit at the computer. I don't think I will wait long after I get home. I really do have faith that the Lord is in control and confidence in my surgeon's abilities. Now all I have to do is wait. I'm not good at waiting! Margo

Hi Margo. God will never desert you. Just trust in Him. God bless, and do let us know how you are doing after your surgery. I'm lifting you up in prayer right now. In Him, Peg

Hi Peg, Thank you so much for your encouragement and prayers. It's kind of funny, earlier tonight I started feeing better and not so stressed I was calming down quite a bit. I had e-mailed the church secretary earlier tonight and asked her to put me on the prayer chain...so I thought it has to be the prayer. Then I realized that she wouldn't get that message till morning. I really thought I "felt" prayer..but didn't understand until I came over to turn off my computer and checked my e-mail and found your message...that said "you were lifting me up in prayer right now" that explains it...thanks again! Margo

Hi Margo. First, Congratulations on your Surgery date! This is awesome! You'll be a loser before you know it! Second. God can give you a peace like you've never known! I'm praying that He does do that for you. His peace! Not peace that a Dr. can give, a parent can give, but HIS PEACE! What peace that is too! I can remember the devil trying to bring fear on me. I have had 15 operations in my life. God has been there with me everytime. I've faced and been at the point of death 4 times in my life. God was there with me. God will take care of you! Stand firm in your faith. Fear comes from the devil and he has no hold, no room, and no place around you. You are covered by the blood of Jesus Christ the anointed one. He lives inside of you and you are anointed! Praise God! Here is my prayer for you along with God's peace! Randall Father God, I thank you for Margo. I thank you for this "healing" took you have given her. I thank you for your peace that is coming over her this very minute. You said in your word, "He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust. Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence. He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler. Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day; Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday. A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee. Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked. Because thou hast made the LORD, which is my refuge, even the most High, thy habitation; There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling. For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways. They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone. (Psalm 91:1-12) I thank you Father for covering Margo under your mighty wings and giving her peace. In Jesus' name! AMEN! So be it!

Hi Randall, Thank you so much for you support and prayers. I can honestly say that I have been literally overcome with peace today. I have been having what I like to call "God Moments" all day. It is so awesome to have the support of brothers and sisters in the Lord...what an awesome tool for ministry a computer is. I have read your posts before and they have blessed me to see how you let God's love pour from you!! May God bless you as you continue to minister to others... In His Love, Margo

Hi Margo~ Of course you have mixed emotions having surgery at the same hospital your mom died at. I would too! But, I pray that God will give you peace and that He will guide the surgeons hands to bring you through without complication. Lord Jesus~We give you Margo. Please guard her heart and mind. Give her peace and sercurity in you. Help her to remember the joy she shared with her mother when she was on this earth. Lord, we entrust Margo to YOUR care. Amen~

Welcome Margo, The Lord will give you the peace you seek~the peace that passes all understanding~the peace that comes form God; not from man. Will you accept the peace that Our Dear Lord offers to you? Dear Lord we ask that you be with our sister margo. Father send to her the comfort she seeks from you. Father we ask that you would touch her heart and calm her fears, as margo settles into your peace and calmness. The Peace that comes only from you Lord. We ask that this inner calm would stay with Margo and that she would cast unto you all of her cares and fears so she will no longer carry them with her Lord. We thank you Father for the grace and freedom that you give to us Lord. We thank you for freeing us from our sins Father. Father let us seek your will in our lives, and help us to follow your commands. We give you the Glory and praise for all you have accomplished through us Father. Humble our hearts Lord that we may see clearly to serve you. Thank you father, Thank you Jesus. Thank you for your comfort, your peace, your love, and forgiveness. In Jesus name we pray, Amen.
