Found these words in a small book recently..........
"another meaning for A.S.A.P. is "Always Say A Prayer"
God knows how stressful life is.
He wants to ease our cares.
Slow down and take a breather -- always say a Prayer. So Jacinda
this is for you.............
A.S.A.P. A.S.A.P. A.S.A.P. A.S.A.P.A.S.A.P.

Jacinda, I do pray that they will figure out what is wrong and you will get home soon. But while you are there, I pray also that you will be a witness to those nurses of Christ's love for them.
I wanted to let everyone know that if you don't see me much this week it will be because I may not have use of a computer. I have to take my computer with me to train on for the next three weeks. My husband has a laptop but he will be leaving on Tuesday for the rest of the week. I will try to post and let you know how things are going with training for the job and to see if there are any prayer requests or praises. I will be sure to continue to lift up both Cindy's as they go into surgery and Jacinda as she recovers and everyone else. Even though we may not know specific prayer requests it is important to lift up our fellow brother's and sister's in Christ.
Have a great Sunday afternoon. I'll try to post tomorrow morning beforing heading to work.
Shel
Hi Jacinda. I just read your profile and your message, and I felt compelled to write to you to tell you to hang in there. God is with you. I recently went through my second stomach surgery. The first one was for stomach cancer, and they did an open RNY in April 2004. They took 9/10 of my stomach and my gallbladder. On August 12th of this year, they took the rest of my stomach, my spleen, and part of my pancreas, and made me a small pouch out of some of my small intestines. I spent 20 days in the hospital, and I am still recovering at home.
I understand how you feel when you say you don't quite fit on this board. I kind of felt that way too, but don't give up. There are many of us who don't fit the "usual profile" here. The good news is that it really doesn't matter. We can still belong and get lots of good support from others here and great information to help us be successful.
One of the things that really helped me while I was in the hospital was to sing to the Lord. I really needed His presence, and singing to Jesus made Him so much closer to me, plus it helped me do some deep breathing! I also found several Christian caregivers in the hospital. Being a Christian is such a wonderful link.
I pray that you will soon be out of the hospital and on the road to recovery. In the meantime, draw close to the Lord, and He will be there for you. So will we. God bless and keep you.
In Him,
Peg
