Prayer Request
I have a big prayer request please. My cat keeps peeing in the house, and we have had her for 10 years. She did not start doing this until we moved into this house, they had a dog before. We have tried everything, taken her to the vet, given her anti anxiety meds, everything. Today my husband was taking her to the pound, but could not bare the thought of her not getting adopted because of her age, and they would put her down, so we are trying one last time. I bought a cage, that we will put her in when we leave the home, but we tried it tonight, and she was almost hurting herself against it pushing her head and butting it. I am just to pieces as its breaking my heart, but I understand my husband's frustration and mine too. I raised her from a baby, and cannot bear to let her go.
Please pray that she would not do this behaviour anymore, and that Jesus would touch her little mind, He made her, and that she would use her litterbox. I even bought 2 to help.
Thanks, I know it sounds silly, but God gave us our little pets, and I feel I need to do all I can.
God Bless,
Deborah
Hi Deborah,
I have 3 cat's and love them to pieces. When we moved in May my midddle cat started doing the same thing. It's like they regress with stress. We also bought an extra box for him, It didn't work. We started taking him outside. That seemed to help him settle down~ which I found to be a bit odd, since he had always been an indoors cat. It took him about six weeks to adjust, but he does fine now. We also were going to take him to the humane society. They told us he would be put to sleep because he stopped using the litter box. I'm glad we brought him back home. I will pray that your kitty starts using the box again.
God bless you,
Annette
IT'S NOT SILLY! ((((((((((((((((((((((((((HUGS)))))))))))))))))))))))))))!
I know exactly what you are feeling! My husband and I have 5 furbabies, and I KNOW the Lord gave them to us! I wasn't searching for any of my kitties when I got them, (didn't really WANT them at the time) so I know they were gifts ! I haven't had to many problems with them going outside the box too much, but I cant have throw rugs (which hubby hates anyway!) or cloth furniture, only leather! (but Praise God they seem not to want to urinate and/or scratch the leather!, that was an ANSWERED prayer by the way! We found this out by accident!)
They are precious gifts, and they have helped me thru some really hard times, and couldn't bear the thoughts of a shelter, (but you still have to do what you have to do sometimes, but everything works to the good for those who love the Lord! )
You and your kitty are in my prayers, and He does answer our prayers for our animals too! I am sorry you are going thru this, it is really frustrating.
(((((((((((((((((((((((((((((HUGS)))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))!
I know our Father will handle this! Prayers going up now
God Bless ;)
