****TUESDAY'S ROLL CALL****
Good morning Cindy and everyone else!
Cindy I am praying for you! How are you holding up with the waiting? Are you getting nervous. I was so busy the two weeks before mine I never had a chance to get worried. I just assumed that was God's plan for me. I hope you are holding up ok. Don't forget to stock up on your protein powders and stuff before you go. Do you have someone in town who will be helping you?
I have decided to take a full 6 weeks off and use the time to study for the sergeant's exam as well as learning how to eat, drink and walk again. I think I need it for my mental health as well.
Well, I'm off to hit the books. Blessings to all!
Love, Jacinda
Hi Jacinda! How are you feeling? I think and pray for you often. I am sure glad everything went okay for you with hurricane Rita. Are you feeling as well as you thought you would after your surgery? I saw your post on the September 2005 messageboard asking what others have done about the amount of gas that a person needs to get rid of after surgery. Has anything helped? I am planning on doing EXACTLY what you are by taking about 6 weeks - 2 months and using this time to really retrain myself. Besides, I think I will need that much time to recuperate! That's great that you are going for sergeant!!!! God bless you! Cindy
Hi Cindy. There is nothing that feels more complete than walking with the Lord. One of the things that really helped me while I was in the hospital was to sing to the Lord. It made me feel better to be praising Him and also forced me to take deep breaths. A double benefit! I also sang a hymn one time when they were removing my sutures. It really helped calm me down, and no one seemed to mind. God bless and keep you.
In Him,
Peg
Good afternoon all!!
Cynthia, I know you are getting excited. I keep praying that God covers you in his peace.
Doing good here. Hubby and I spent the day goofing off in Valdosta. The company he works for is getting him a new truck. His truck is a 2002 and already has almost 150,000 miles on it. They get a new one about every three years. Anyway, he wanted to look at the Toyota Tundra and see if he could fit into it (he's 6'4" tall). He seemed to really like it.
Anyway, I need to go figure something out for supper. Ya'll have a great afternoon! God Bless!!
