Good morning ladies and gents. I have decided to clean out my office. So many things accumulate in offices over the years. I have been in this particular one for 5 years. So it needed a serious purge!!! I threw out 9 bags of trash (old documents). I eliminated one book shelf, one printer table, and one hutch over my PC table. AAHHHH. I gave myself a promotion to a bigger office!!! It's an illusion. Plus it feels so much better to have less clutter. Next Thurs is my last day in the office for essentially the rest of the year, because I will work at home until the end of December after my Oct 18th surgery. I found photos that I hadn't seen for 5 years and it made me smile because I surround myself with pics of my nieces and nephews. Hope everyone has a wonderful day. Cynthia

Hi Jacinda! How are things going? Is it as hard as they say to get your protein and liquids in? Are you really gonna get down and clean out your sink? Do you feel THAT good? Praise the Lord! Did you have a drain? If so, have they removed it yet? I have 12 days until my surgery. I went to a Nutrition class yesterday and learned a lot. I then took a tour of the bariatric unit. How long were you in the hospital? Did you have LAP? Maybe I better go look on your profile; you have probably updated it and I could find out all of this by reading it!!! Take care & God bless you! Love, Cindy

Good Morning to you! I am doing well today. I received my preliminary packet from my surgeon. I have my first consult on Friday, October 14th. We'll see where God leads. I am excited about the prospect of surgery and also a little scared. It seems from reading around that those feelings are pretty normal. I prayed for you all today. Blessings~ Becky

Hello again gang, and Cindy: I don't know if my profile was updated after your first post this morning or not. I updated shortly after posting this morning and it has the nitty gritty and isnt pretty. Read at your own risk. Know that you are in my prayers everyday. You have a special place in my heart because our surgeries are so close together and you are my sister in Christ. As for how I am feeling now, it depends on what you ask about. My energy is 100%. I can walk an hour at a time. I still feel significant pain especially on the left side...just like everyone else. It's true though. The more I move, the easier it gets. I now easily get my protein in by drinking Isopure Protein shakes with fat free milk. I can drink a half a cup at a time (about 1/3 of a shake) in about 15 minutes. I think I am getting in plenty of fluids. I drink all day long. Broth goes down the easiest. I hope all this helps. I am so glad about your dad coming home. God be with you. Love, Jacinda
