Hello Georgina~ I am new today! It's nice to meet you and also see there are other brothers and sisters in Christ on the same journey. I have not had surgery yet either, but Lord willing I will be someday soon. Blessings~ Becky

Welcome Becky, I hope you have received as much support as I have since I have joined. I know that this is a big step and alot of hassle with insurance and everything else involved but it is well worth it. Georgina, Welcome!! I am new in this room too! I wish I had found it earlier, but all in God's timing, right? I am 6 weeks out, and I feel great. I had no complications and even went home early! You will do just as well because you will be covered in prayer and love! Remember, you will have Jesus in that operating room with you, and He will be guiding the surgeons hands! Sorry, I miss read your post, I thought you were having the surgery. *I see you already had the surgery*.....It must be too early for me to focus or I need to get my eyes checked! I am praying for you still! LOL

Dear Deborah, Congratulations on being on this wonderful journey. I hope and pray that you are doing well and getting all of the nutrients and exercise (and rest) that you need and deserve. My best piece of advice is to stick to the rules about what to eat and when to start introducing new foods and walk,walk,walk. That was the best thing for my husband and myself!
