ROLL CALL for Monday

Good Morning all!!! Not much going on here. I have a phone interview this afternoon with that place I sent my resume to. I know this is in God's hands. I want to thank everyone who has been praying for me. I do feel better knowing that I have that prayer support. Speaking of prayer, I wanted Annette, Heather, Kim S and Cynthia to know that I have lifted them up this morning. Especially Annette, Kim and Cynthia as they are either having testing done or surgery. I do lift up everyone on this board and ask for God's loving hands to wrap around all of you and surround you with His love. We did visit a church yesterday and we all seemed to like it. We are going to continue visiting and see if this is where the Lord wants us to be. Anyway, everyone have a God blessed day! I'm so glad this board is here and that we can share our love for our Savior with one another and fellowship with one another in our own little way. Shel

Thank you for the prayer! I'm not sure if you meant Cyn Snyder or Cyn Sirk (me)...either way I'll take it!! This board helps me keep all of you in my prayers too. I watched TLC show last night on a woman named Jackie who had WLS and it was very sobering. It didn't scare me, but it did make me realize that I must do something about my obesity because I do not want to become house bound. There also were several comments on the medical testing done recently to identify a gene that causes obese people to simply not recognize fullness or "enough". I have always been perplexed by my own willpower and discipline in so many areas of my life, except this area. That show allowed me to let go of some of the shame I've always had over my eating habits. Have a great day everyone! Love, Cyn

Good morning everyone, I hope you all had a wonderfull weekend, and are ready to start fresh. A great big thank you for all of the prayers that went up for me. I was very calm and peacefull the whole weekend and rarely even thought about today's test. I left to go get it done, but couldn't find the place I was supposed to go to. I stopped at 2 pay phones ~one was broken and the other one said the number was out of service. So I said to my self, I'm just going home. I'll call from there and reschedule it for another time. I start driving down the road when this big brown brick building jumped in front of my car( well not really, but it may as well have). So I go in and find where I'm supposed to be, and of course(understandably) I had to reschedule, I was only 45 minutes late. I passed this building several times, I don't know how I missed it. My new appointment Is on Thursday at 1:00 pm. I know where it is now so it shouldn't be any problem finding the place. I have my sleep study tomorrow night. Please pray that I get there and back safely. I have to drive through a very bad drug & gang infested area to get there. My appointment is at 10:00Pm. My prayers are going up for everyone else. Shel, you will get the job if its the right one that the Lord wants you to have. Happy to hear you may have found a church home. Melanie, May you have a blessed day as you clear your "plate". Shel, Thank you for your prayers. I just want to say that you all have been a blessing to me. I, too, could feel a peace this weekend. I have to honestly say that I love you guys! Shel, I will be praying for God's will with your job hunt and church finding. He always knows better than we do.
