Hello, hope everyone is in good health and doing well! I am new to this board, and just wanted to say that everyone here is an inspiration to me. I too love the Lord, and it is so uplifting to see the post of other Christians also. I hope you dont mind if I ask you fellow chrisitians a favor, please pray for me. I am just so low lately, and I know God allows time in the valley so we can grow, well, tonight I am in that old valley, must be doing a lot of growing lol I am MO, and would love to have RNY surgery, but my company makes it really really hard on our insurance company, so It is next to impossible to approved, so I have decided to put trying to be approved off for now, (I'm not one for fighting, and my fear is that after I fought really hard, I'd just end up dying or having some really bad complications) and try to lose once again with out surgery. I have put a lot of weight on in the past year, and I have some comorbidities, I know that will get worse with age. I have put this in the Lord's hands, but I need help figuring out which route to really go, but I know HE will show me (soon I hope!)I get to watch my mother inlaw become a loser though, hopefully by the middle of next month! I take her back on the third for all her pre-op test, and hopefully they will give her a date! I have other things among this on my mind, which the Lord knows them all, and because of them I do really feel guilty about thinking of myself. Please pray for my family and I , I also will pray for you, (actually have been since I found this wonderful site!) We do need to help each other in this life, that old devil can make it so rough some times. I know there is a reason for everything, and all things work to the good for them that love the LORD. God Bless to all of you, Hope you have a bless service today! Kim

Kim, Please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers. Never give up. Joy comes in the morning. Stay focused on God. Stand on His Word. He will never leave you nor forsake you. God is on our side. Where things seem impossible to us, with God all things are possible. I'm praying for your family too. It's so sweet of you to be there for your Mother In Law as she has this surgery. You too will have this surgery! I have faith. Randall

Thank you all so much, I will definitely keep praying on it. I keep thinking about trying it again on my own, but then I think about all the times I lost (lots!) and gained (LOTS MORE) back! On my mothers side of the family, there are a couple hereditary diseases that affect mobility and muscles and bones, one is called Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease (named for the doctors who found it) but anyway I have several aunt/uncles with it and my mother is having a very hard time with it lately (PLEASE pray for her!!). Deep inside, I am really afraid that it will eventually affect me also, it usually starts showing signs in the late 30s, I am 30. (my sister is 35, and is showing signs.) Along with my other comorbitites, it would be really hard to make it, I pray on it everyday, so I know the Lord will come thru (as He always does!!!) when the time is right! I am thinking about calling the hospital tomorrow and talking with the person who takes care of the insurance and such. I appreciate all your prayers! You can feel the spirit move, and you just know when Gods people are prayer for you!! I feel so much better today, THANK YOU JESUS! Had a wonderful service yesterday too ! You are truly a wonderful group of people, I will continue to pray for you! I will update when my mother inlaw has her sugery, she has a lot of comorbidities also, so please remember her too. I know weight loss will do her so much good, she has lupus, fibromyalgia, spinal stenosis, and alot of others, she was so against this surgery forever, so I cant help to think the Lords hand isn't in this somewhere! God Bless all of you! 'Confess you faults one to another and pray for one another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much' James 5:16 I love this verse, one of my all time favorites! God Bless, Kim Watts
