God is so good!!

You better believe my God is so good! He has done so much for me. I don't know of anyone that would let their son die for me, not that they could in that context. I have gone through quite a time of testing over the past five years. The hardest part was when I became homeless, about 2 yrs ago. It's not the first time I've been homeless, but it was the first time I was homeless with children. We stayed that way for an entire year. It was a very hard time, But The Lord was with us every second of that time, just as He always is. Four months ago we bought a home, Or should I say that The Lord gave us a home. It appraised at $117,000.00 The Lord gave it to us for $61,000.00. Thats $51,000.00 in equity, Zero down, And I don't have a job to boot. THIS IS A GOD THING!!! You could only understand if your a beliver. And to think thats just one of the way's He has blessed my family. He can and will bless your's too if you let Him. God bless, Annette

God is indeed good! I can't count large financial blessings right now....but I live each day, since rededicating my life to God, knowing that HE knows my name...yesterday, today, tomorrow and for eternity! HE still loves me...ME...even though I had turned my back on HIM. HE still loves me..........and "even while we were still sinners" HE sent his SON to die for ME! How awesome is that? However, God did send help our way. I have been unable to work for awhile...although trying to find work. My 19 year old daughter is basically supporting our household. She works at Pizza Hut. We live in government supported housing and receive assistance from the department of human services. We were out of bread one day...well, almost out, and had no money. She went to work that evening...usually a very SLOW NIGHT for a waitress. She called me, upset, and told me that she'd only made...I think $7 so far...and I said "it's ok, we'll make it" She called me later, crying, and told me that a man had just left her a $22 tip! Then, a lady left her a $10 tip! She ended up making $54 in tips that night! God IS good! Remember to count your blessings! I hope I can remember too! Well, I've "talked" enough, huh? Kandy

Hi Randall! I know this is an old post but I just couldn't pass the opportunity to 'brag on MY God' too! Where can I begin? He saved us (my entire family!) in 1985; He healed our marriage when my husband went through a 'mid-life crisis' 15 years ago; He has provided bread on our table when we didn't know where it would come from; He has phyiscally healed us from different ailments; He has allowed us to be blessed by running a Christian youth center in town which has changed our entire town since it began 10 years ago (the governor awarded it a statewide honor in '01); He lead us to homeschool our children for all of their 12 yrs of schooling (they are now 22 & 25); Our son is now an ordained pastor....Like you, you could probably go on and on and on and on with the wonderful things that our God has done in our lives and just saving us is enough to praise Him for!!!!
