Our God of second chances

There is much blame seeking in regard to the terrible tragedy in LA amd MS., but have we looked at what God has done for many in the mist of the suffering and pain? There were thousand documents (ie: police records. arrest records, pending sperations, divocres and custody battles) that were washed away with the floods. As in Naoh's day, it was an opportunity to start over for many. I do not lightly gloss over the the sadness and suffering. But am thinking of people who have a second chance to have things they've done, decisions they regret, be put behind them once and for all. Just like the cleansing blood of our Savior, Jesus. What an opportunity to seek the Lord and begin a new life with his guiding hand!!!! So, we pray, .....Lord, in the mist of this, we seek your direction, we cry to you that we might please you and that you be glorified above all. Show us Lord the correct and narrow path, help us see your will and your promise. Let us accept the rescue of new life in you. Let us Father, run to your open arms for salvation and shelter. Let us remember that all our help comes from you. Thank you for the men and women who are coming to the aid of so many. Strengthen their bodies and hearts to endure the race. We pray Lord for our nation not to be divided and looking for blame, but rather seek unity and kinship. We pray for the leaders who are also just failable humans, just as we, and pour out on them discernment and strength. Let us all remember that you love us, sent your son to die a torturous death so that each of us can have joyous relationship with you. And it is through that name, Jesus, we pray, Amen. Thank you participating in my prayer. ILuvYa'll. Sally
