Please Please pray for me!!!

Ok. I need some prayer. Just to give you a little background.. my husband and I have a strong faith and I KNOW GOD can do ALL things...right now I am very stressed about our finances. We need to come up w/ $325 by monday to pay our gas and electric bill. My husband makes ok money but we have 4 kids and a household to maintain. So right now I am sooo stressed. Yesterday I got my my knees and really poured myself out to God. I don't want to let my emotions get carried away and lose my peace. SO please pray that we would be able to see our way out of this financial mess. I know God is w/ me... It just helps to have others praying for you!! Thanks, Melissa Hoaglund

I will keep you in my prayers --I can relate to how you feel --just last month my husband and I were in a bind --and God delivered us right on time --(just 1-day before the money we needed was due) so keep praying God has not and will not forget you --he promises to supply ALL of our needs so be encouraged it is on the way.. Melissa have I got a testimony for you. First please get out your Bible and read matthew 6:26-34. Verse 34 reads- Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of it's own. The Lord has blessed me tremendously. I know this sounds like a long time ago, but it really hasn't been that long, and the Lord has given me many blessings since. I have had my share of trials in this life, but the Lord is always with me and always comes through. Even If I think he's not there with me He is. Don't forget that. God is always with us and sometimes he allows us to go through some pretty rough times. five years ago I was on my own(my husband was an alcoholic and could'nt help himself let alone anyone else, another story) anyhow I was working and making enough to pay the rent, gas up the car for work for a week, and buy groceries. Sometimes I had enough to pay the gas bill. Sometimes I had enough to pay the water bill. I figured if it came down to it, we could live with out the electric the easiest. It wouldn't be the first time. The one thing I made sure I paid first out of each of my pay checks was my thithe. When I got a shut off on my electric bill I didn't have the money to pay it. I prayed to God and asked Him to keep the electric on untill I could afford to pay it. Every single month I would get a shut off notice from Detroit Edision. Every single month I would Pray to God and ask Him Lord please don't let them turn the electirc off untill I can afford to pay it. This went on for a year. No kidding - no exaggeration! My electric bill was just short of three thousand dollars! Yes $3000.00! It was now Feburaury one year later. I filed my taxes and was expecting a refund of nearly five thousand dollars. What a blessing! I got another shut off notice from Detroit Edision, and prayed again Lord Please keep my electric on untill I can pay it. I will pay it as soon as I get my tax refund. It was supposed to take 6-8 weeks for the tax refund to come. One week later I came home to find a disconnect notice taped to my front door it said my service had been disconnected due to non payment. It said I had to pay nearly $3000.00 plus a deposit and a reconnect fee. I stopped right there and thanked the Lord for keeping it on as long as He had. I took the mail out of the box, just more bill's that I couldn't pay, untill I got the money. I went into the house and found that my electric was STILL ON! Even with the disconnect notice taped to my door it was still on! I was about to leave to pick my boys up from my pastors house, (he and his wife watched them for free), When my neighbor started waving a letter out of her door. I walked over to her and she said the mailman left this at my house, but I think it's for you. She then handed me my tax refund. I went to my bank (which stayed open late) I deposited the check and the teller said because its a goverment check the funds would be available immediaetly. I picked up my boy's and went down to the payment center. When I gave the cashier the notice and the check she was quite surprised and said this can't be right. I told her it was she said ok do you want it turned back on? I told her it's still on, it wasn't turned off. She said thats impossible. I told her no really it's on. I Just came from there. She went on her computer and said are you sure it's on at this address? It was supposed to be turned off eleven months ago, no wait it is turned off wait a minute, It should be off but you say it's on. I said yes it's still on. She said --This notice was left on your door today and the service was supposed to be disconnected, but it's still on right? I replied yes. She said How can that be this bill is unbeliveably huge? We wouldn't let a residental bill get this big. I looked at her and said thats the power of prayer! I have prayed over this bill for a year now and asked the Lord not to turn it off untill I could pay it. Today I was able to pay it. I believe this was a test of faith from the Lord. Remember no matter what our situtation God is always with us. Even if we don't understand the why's of it all. The Lord knows what he is doing. Trust Him. You and your family are in my prayers.
