Isaiah 41 verse 10 , Isaiah 43 verse two and then there is one that I cling to every day but can't remember right off where it is. It says that if we are faithful to the Lord that we shall be saved AND ALL OUR HOUSEHOLDS. This is a promise that we all need to hold on to. How many children have gotten saved long years after the parents death because they heard their parents praying for them and clinging to this promise.

Hey Trudy! I love Romans 8:28! And we know that ALL things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to HIS purpose. He didn't say one thing or some things, He PROMISED right there in HIS WORD that ALL things. We may not always think it works to our good cause it don't work out like we WANTED OR WANT it too, but it is for our good. GOD IS GOOD ALL THE TIME! I'm so glad you posted this post. My favorite scripture is Colossians 3:23 I'll let you look that one up. Love ya and God bless! Randall

Ecclesiastes (Qoheleth), chapter 3 1 : To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: 2 : A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted; 3 : A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up; 4 : A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance; 5 : A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing; 6 : A time to get, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away; 7 : A time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak; 8 : A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace.

I'm so glad to find a Christian message board on OH. My favorite verse is Romans 8:38-40. "For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord."
