My dear Sisters and Brothers-in-Christ,............................................ I haven't posted a while as I have been going through my Lapband qualifications. While my new PCP ordered a Nuclear stress test for finalizing his paperwork for my surgery, the test, which I have taken many times with success, this time came out abnormal; so I'm suppose to get a Cardio catherization procedure, where they run a probe through my groin and shoot dye in my heart to see if I have a blockage or anything there. Wow! I have to be honest with you guys, I am kinda nervous about this, although I've prayed and talked to GOD about it and He did get me peace and assurance that I will come through it alright, that old "enemy" keeps trying give me "his" old spirit of "fear." I need you all to pray for me and a favorable outcome of this procedure. I don't know yet when they're going to schedule it, but will probably know after an initial work-up on this Friday and I will you all know. I hope I seem like a "weak" Christian, but I know that "the prayers of the righteous availeth much.".........................................God bless you all, Nettibea

Nettibea, When I had my nuclear stress test I was advised that I needed a cariac cath also. My doctor told me prior to the cath that many times larger women especially large breasted woman may have a stress test that is inconclusive due to the fat tissue. Even though it seemed that my heart was not getting a proper blood supply on one area and it was not pumping out blood at a normal rate, I trusted that God would protect me. And, no, don't feel weak. I was scared too. We can have faith in God, but I am sure it is normal to be frightened, we are still human. When Peter was on the water with Jesus himself he still was terrified. It was very scary, I think it was fear of the unknown, (procedure), more so than it was the outcome. But, still there was a peace that God gave me. The doctor was a bit nervous at first, because he could not find one of my arteries that is suppose to come out at the side of your heart. He eventually found it. It was coming out of the front of my heart. He said that it was not normal (I also knew I wasn't normal..LOL), but it was working properly. Bottom line, I came out with flying colors. Everything was normal. The procedure was painless. It was a breeze. I pray that the Lord sends you peace and comfort and a clean bill of cardiac health. Keep me posted. Darla

Hi Nettibea, I'm sorry I didnt answer this post the first time around. I would have, but This is the hardest board for me to find. Sometimes its in my sidebar, but when its not I cant find it. I always end up on a spirituality board (some of that stuff gives me the creeps). Now that I know that you need prayer I will send some up. It's human nature to be nervous of the unknown, especialy this kind of thing. I will pray that the Lord gives you peace of mind for this procedure, And that it would turn out normal. God is in control, rest easy. God bless you, Annette

HIJACK, ANNETTE, DID YOU TRY DRAGING THE HEART OVER AND DROPING IT IN YOUR FAVORITE'S. THATS WHAT I DID AND IT MAKES IT EASIER TO GET HERE. I KNOW WHAT YOU MEAN ABOUT THE SPIRITUALITY BOARD, CREEPY. ITS FUNNY, YOU MEET ALL KINDS OF PEOPLE ON THE COMPUTER THAT WILL SAY AND DO ANYTHING, AND WILL PERPOSELY SAY THINGS TO GET YOU RILED UP LOL. THAT WAS ALL NEW TO ME WHEN I GOT A COMPUTER, NOW I HAVE LEARNED HOW TO DEAL WITH IT (MOSTLY YOU JUST HAVE TO IGNOR WHAT THEY SAY LOL). WELL I VENTED ENOUGH. HUGS, AND GOD BLESS, TRUDY

It's not letting me do that. I have no problem finding O.H. it's just the Christianty board. Tonight it's in my side bar again. It hasn't been there for a while now. Is there another way to get here? Thank you. God bless, Annette

Nettibea, you will certainly be in my prayers. God is a faithful God. We have to put our trust in Him and let Him give us peace. I love Mark 4:40. God can speak to any storm in our life as long as we have faith! I pray HIS peace on you. Not peace of the world. HIS PEACE! God bless you! Randall
