Hello, It has been a long time since I have been on this website! I have no excuse but being busy! I had my surgery Nov. 26, 2004 and for the past 2 months have lost nothing! I am not exercising as much as i would like due to my breathing and back, however I do try to exercise with rubberbands either sitting or laying down. I find my lapband is very finnicky...some days I can eat all I want and other days I cannot get a couple bites of chicken down without losing it. I have found that I can eat lettuce, soft foods, beverages, ice milk, and whole grain cereal. At times i can eat chicken, turkey, ham, beef, and fish. Although my appetite is lessened, I AM eating much more than two or three bites full. One opportunity I do have is living now on @$45 a month for groceries. This is NOT conducive to eating healthy. I could use some ideas from all of you. Im beginning to feel like Ive let down my surgeon and myself. I would appreciate any advise you can provide! Thanks and God Bless, Greer

I have read a million post like this and I will tell you the same thing....go back to basics. Start drinking your proteins again. And remember any muscle you build weighs more than fat. You may be gaining muscle and losing fat. Start doing your measurements it is a better way to tell what is going on. God Bless, Danielle 7/13/05

Hey Greer. Good to see you posting. How are things for ya? I've been praying for ya. Danielle did give you some good advice and I've also been told that when you slow in losing, you are losing inches. Maybe that's whats happening to you. Up your water intake and protein. That'll kick in the weight loss again. God bless you my friend. Randall

Thanks for your advise...I will follow that! I was concerned that I was doing something incorrectly! Thank You! God has been good to me and is changing my perspective of my real needs day by day! How do people live without Jesus with as much that is happening in the world today? I am BLESSED by again having a lovely apartment, however I am seperated from my "kids" (Collie dogs) but am still hoping for us being reunited. Thanks Again and God Bless You! Greer
