Surgery Date June 13 th 2005

I just found this board today. Praise God!! I will undergo surgery on Monday the 13th. My faith is all in God. I do have to admit that Satan is trying to work on me because in the last two days I have been experiencing some fear. Please keep me in your prayers, that everthing will go smoothly. My Dr. does not know if he will be able to perform a lap surgery because I have a gallblader scar from Pancreatitis and peritonitis when I was 20 years old. I am also diabetic. I dont know if my pancreas will work again since my Dr. states it may have been damaged. I just thank God for this surgery and a second chance to be healthier. Thank you all who love our lord Jesus Christ. Also thank Randall (Cullpeper)? for Gods Message. I want to hear More. Also pray for my Dr. so God will guide his hands. Hi Terri! This board is a blessing...I love to lurk here and read what Randall and others post and all the profiles. I have learned tons. Congratulations on your upcoming surgery. Hello Terri, I am so with you about the fear thing. I have heard some really bad stories about long term effects lately, and Satan is definately using that to scare me. But I figure that God has brought me thus far in the fight, he wouldn't want me to throw in the towel now. I am also glad for this board, since religious talk is forbidden on the main board. Don't get me wrong, I love the main board it has been a huge help in my journey. But it is nice to know that we can come to this board when we need prayer or want to talk with other Christians. I am so thankful for the surgery and the chance at a healthier life. I thank goodness that our God is a God of second chances! Blessings to you, Crystal

Terri, My surgery was on 6/6 and I had some fears too. I am sure that God has blessed you and you are doing well. Only Satan wants us down and discouraged - pray daily and live each day one at a time. Every day, every week things get better as you reach the final goal. Use this experience as a witness to our Lord. Please post how you are doing - would love to hear from you!!! Robyn
