Wanting!!

Hi Everyone I was just wanting to ask for prayer Im 31 and I weigh 310 I have very bad joint hip back and leg problems. I've just been diagnosed with tacacardia and am going to be put on bata blockers. I really want this surgery and i just want prayer that the process will be fast through the insuranse an the doctors. I know I 've gotten myself in a real pickle and now I'm paying the consiquenses for it. I'm not very old I feel a 100 most days. My goal after I lose my weigh its to run I've never ran. even when I was little running was something I never did for fun. I want to ride a rollercoaster and out play my kids.So if you guys could be in prayer about the doors opening that would be soThanks Lizzey

Hi Lizzey, I know how you feel hon. I just turned 32 in March. I had my surgery on February 25th 2005. So, I am only 2 1/2 months post-op. I went through Medicaid and had to do an 8 month supervised diet and see a psychologist and internist for the 8 months as well. It was a hard journey. I had lost 27 lbs during the 8 months and then I got messed around by the hospital I was going through on the 8th month visit, so I couldn't handle it anymore and switched hospitals that a friend that I met on here was going to, but I ended up gaining 17 lbs back. But before surgery my health was really bad. I had diabetes and was taking 3 meds for that (2 oral and 1 shots), I was on 9 meds and now I am only on 3, plus getting ready to start on another one to help me sleep. I, too, felt many days as though I was 100 years old. I am a college student and every time I was turning around I was withdrawing from classes or even from the whole semester because I was constantly sick or in pain. Even when being in the drama team at school, there were 3 plays that I was in that I had to quit doing because of my health and pain and doing what I love the most in church being in the choir, I had to quit that, and spent a lot of time not being able to go to church because of pain and health problems. I believe in the power of prayer and I will pray for you hon. Keep the faith and you will have your day with the surgery and get much better. I didn't think it would get that much better, but as of the day of surgery I was off all of my meds until I came home and only have to take 3 plus vitamins. Thanks So much for replying. My doctor got my referral in to the doctor about finally getting the big ball rolling I guess I will have to have the six month waiting game to. I really want to find out about an exclusion. I dont know if I can get one but I'm going to try. thats exciting about your weight loss. And finally getting your surgery. Hey Everyone my doctor got My reffereral and my appointment on the 7th of june .Now just pray I dont have to do the 6 to 8 month thing. Thanks Lizzey
