God is so GOOD!

I just have so much to praise God for. He has been so faithful even when I have not been. He is so awesome to love us inspite of our short comings. My good friend, Tracy, accepted the Lord a couple of weeks ago. Praise Jesus! I have been friends with her for about 2 years and I have been praying for her. She was living with her boyfriend, who was a Christian living away from the Lord. She got pregnant so they got married recently. She told me she had been feeling like she needed to be a better example to her kids, so they went to church with her in-laws and she accepted Jesus. She was so excited! Now I get spend eternity with her in heaven! I recently passed my goal weight! I wanted to get to at least 160, and a size 12. Well, I weighed in this week and I was at 157, and I just bought a size 10 pair of pants! WOW, the Lord can just exceed our hopes and dreams, can't He!?! I give God all the glory for this. Without Him it never would have been possible. I am taking a mission trip to Africa in June, and this has been one of the biggest reasons I prayed and asked the Lord for this surgery. I have had a heart for missions and the African people for as long as I can remember. But, it is kind of hard to serve in that capacity when you are so heavy you can hardly sit in the airline seats and get winded trying to walk anywhere. I praise Jesus for preparing my heart for all these years, then preparing my body when HE DECIDED it was time for me to go. Praise the Lord! I just love bragging on our precious Lord.
