How do you know if WLS is Gods will?

Awesome to see so many replies to your question!! Before I made an appointment to see my surgeon, I prayed for God's will be be evident in this process. I asked Him to give me peace if this was what He wanted for me. I've had nothing but the most unbelievable peace and excitement! I told my Pastor's wife and asked her to pray for me and she was THRILLED about it - that was another confirmation. She knows a few people from their past congregation that had it and she saw the outcome. It has been a blessing to have her support! Anyhoos - the best thing that worked for me was totally giving it over to God and asking for Him to show me it was His will. Everything has went very fast for me and smoothly. My first visit with my surgeon was Dec. 8th, I saw the psychologist the following Tuesday, and then the dietician the next Tuesday! It's a God thing! The secretary at the surgeon's office couldn't believe how fast I got those appointments! Anyhoos, I received my insurance approval letter on Friday afternoon, and since today is MLK's birthday, I wait until tomorrow to get a surgery date! God is so awesome - just turn it over to Him completely and He takes care of everything!! Robin
