I really need your Prayers on this one .

I come here today to ask my fellow Christian AMOS family to be in prayer for me and my family . Here is the story .. I 3 weeks ago , started looking for a house to rent . I now live in a really small apartment . So I found this beautiful home not far from where I am now and it is rent with option to buy .. so I jumped on it . I asked the man that owns it .. " is there anything about the house I should know .. how is the neigborhood ? His responce to me was - the neiborhood was quiet ... and no there is nothing about the house ..other than it may need some cleaning of the outside shutters .. Well , I was so excited .. I took my daughter and son in law over to see it and my daughter comes running out of her car and says .. O my gosh Mom tell me this is not the house .. I told her yes .it is .. Well , She then tells me that 3 months ago a man was robbed and shot to death in the home . Now let's get this on the table now .. I am not afraid of the dead .. For the dead know nothing .. Not scared of ghost ! LOL Not when I have God right ! Well my delima here is ... do I tell the man that rented it to me that I know ? Do I confront him with this ? My insides just tell me to let it be .. It really saddens me that he could not tell me .. would it have made a difference .. maybe not .. as the home is really beautiful and is truly in a great place .. I plan on taking my Bible in today to the house first thing - before anything is moved in .. and ask God to bless my house and home .. I am going to also pray for the victims family and ask God to be with them as well . I just do not know what to do about the landlord .. I think for now .. I will just be still .. Hi Natalie. I think you have chosen the right thing to do. You did ask him was there anything about the "house". I might would let him know that you do know. Take your Bible in and ask God to bless the house. That's a great idea. There is nothing to be afraid of with God on your side. Praying for you to have wisdom on what to do. I agree...I can relate...he could have/should have told you...I found out AFTER we bought our house that an elderly lady died in our bedroom...we've been here 13 years now...Just ask God to bless your new Home and I pray you have nothing but happiness in it!

Natalie, I agree with the posts above. However, if you get cold feet, there is a "Full disclosure" law in California (and a lot of other states) for home sellers that specifically states they must disclose things like if there has been murders in the home, etc. It probably applies to landlords also. I'm not sure if I could be as brave as you. I am not afraid of ghosts or anything like that, but I think it would creep me out. If you like the house, go for it! God bless you, Sherri

I see there is a full disclosure in California. In NC you must tell people if asked. However, you are right Natalie in taking your Bible and get some anointing oil and pray through that house and anoint the whole thing! If we were all there with you, we'd come and have a group prayer meeting. We serve the Living God and He will give His angels charge over you and your family and that house! Blessings to you.
