I have found a lot of comfort in the book of James . When we are dealing with any trial or test .. we should find comfort and joy in it no matter what . I wanted to share with you the scripture and hope that if you are going thru any test , trial - money , family - etc issue .. that you can find joy in it and ask God to take over ... I have not posted here lately and it feels good to be back among everyone . I am so hungry for the word and for his guidance . And with out God I would not be where I am today . So enjoy the passage and may God bless you today and always . Natalie Trials and Temptations 2Consider it pure joy, my brothers, whenever you face trials of many kinds, 3because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance. 4Perseverance must fini****s work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything. 5If any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to him. 6But when he asks, he must believe and not doubt, because he who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind. 7That man should not think he will receive anything from the Lord; 8he is a double-minded man, unstable in all he does. 9The brother in humble cir****tances ought to take pride in his high position. 10But the one who is rich should take pride in his low position, because he will pass away like a wild flower. 11For the sun rises with scorching heat and withers the plant; its blossom falls and its beauty is destroyed. In the same way, the rich man will fade away even while he goes about his business. 12Blessed is the man who perseveres under trial, because when he has stood the test, he will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love him. 13When tempted, no one should say, "God is tempting me." For God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does he tempt anyone; 14but each one is tempted when, by his own evil desire, he is dragged away and enticed. 15Then, after desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, gives birth to death. 16Don't be deceived, my dear brothers. 17Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows. 18He chose to give us birth through the word of truth, that we might be a kind of firstfruits of all he created.

DEAREST NATALIE, WHAT A LOVELY REMINDER OF HOW WONDERFUL OUR GOD IS. TOO OFTEN WE HEAR PEOPLE ASK,"WHY ME?" AS IF EVERY TRIAL IN OUR LIFE IS A PUNISHMENT FROM GOD. BUT, AS PEOPLE OF FAITH, WE MUST ALWAYS REMEMBER THAT OUR LORD AND SAVIOR, IS A LOVING GOD, GUIDING US THROUGH LIFE WITH LESSONS THAT HELP BUILD OUR FAITH. WE ARE HUMAN. JESUS LIVED AMONG US, AS ONE OF US. HE KNOWS OUR FRAILTIES, OUR WEAKNESSES, AND OUR LIMITS. WE LEARN, NOT FROM OUR SUCCESSES, BUT FROM OUR FAILURES. GOD IS OUR FATHER. A PERFECT PARENT. EVERYTHING HAPPENS TO US FOR A REASON, AND THAT REASON IS ALWAYS GOOD, EVEN IF WE DON'T UNDERSTAND THAT AT THE TIME. WE ARE BEING PREPARED FOR PARADISE. WE LEAVE THIS WORLD WITHOUT POSSESSIONS. OUR SOUL, AND THE QUALITY OF OUR LOVE AND FORGIVENESS,ARE OUR TICKET TO ETERNAL HAPPINESS. THANK YOU DEAR SISTER, FOR SHARING HIS LOVE FOR US ON THIS GLORIOUS FALL DAY. ALL MY LOVE, CARMELLA

Thank you for that. I have been very frustrated because of our financial situation. My husband refuses to step out on faith and write the tithe check before he figures the bills. So, every payday we end up in the hole and he only tithes IF and WHEN he can, and it isn't 10%. I get so upset because I am tired of suffering financially because of his lack of faith. Once I went behind his back and wrote a tithe check. Boy did that cause a BIG fight. I was so torn between being obedient to my husband or obedient to God. What is a gal to do? Bless you, Sherri
