Thank you all...

for your all of your prayers! I read your posts today, and they all mean so much to me. It is so awesome to know that there are people out there who love the Lord, and will not hesitate to pray for one another. You have all touched my heart. Thank you for sharing your verses and stories with me. I was just reading of the passing over of Bryant Jackson, and it is so heartbreaking. It really gives you pause. Of course, there is the part of you that feels terrible because your are torn between sympathy, sadness, and selfishness, wondering...will it be me? But, God has opened all doors for me, and sometimes even bumped me in the nose with them! Just the other morning, I got up from bed, and said, "Lord, I am so scared, please don't take me now"...then I turned on the radio(something I normally don't do in the am), and the new song from Casting Crowns was on...The Voice of Truth. Wow...it just made me cry and feel really loved by the Lord, despite the fact that I mess up everyday and wonder..why does He even bother with me?? Please continue to pray for me. I will have surgery on the 8th, around 10 or so. You will also be in my prayers... With love and hugs, Kathy

DEAREST KATHY, IF I MAY SHARE WITH YOU SOMETHING PERSONAL. MY SURGERY WAS SCHEDULED FOR OCTOBER 7TH. EVERYTHING WAS SET TO GO WHEN I RECEIVED A CALL FROM THE SURGEONS OFFICE ASKING ME IF I WANTED TO GO IN 2 DAYS EARLIER. BEING SO EXCITED TO GET IT OVER WITH, I QUICKLY SAID,"YES!". WHEN I HUNG UP THE PHONE I BECAME OVERWHELMED WITH ANXIETY. YOU SEE, OCTOBER 5TH IS THE ANNIVERSARY OF MY DEAR MOTHER'S DEATH. NEEDLESS TO SAY, I WAS READING THE WORST INTO THIS. BUT, AFTER SOME DEEP PRAYER, I CAME TO REALIZE HOW BLESSED I WAS. WITH THIS TURN OF EVENTS, OUR DEAR LORD WAS REMINDING ME THAT, NOT ONLY WAS HE GOING TO BE WITH ME THAT DAY, BUT SO WILL MY MOM. MY SURGERY WAS UNEVENTFUL, AND I HAD A QUICK AND PAINLESS RECOVERY. HOW BLESSED WE ARE TO HAVE SUCH A LOVING GOD. BEST WISHES TO YOU MY DEAR SISTER, LOVE, CARMELLA
